A Great Listen
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher and found it very entertaining. This is a suspenseful and fast paced novel, with just the right amount of humor. The well written characters are unique and suit this story about the spy world just after the Napoleonic Wars very well. Even though this is book 3 of the series, I had no problem following the story line, since enough back information was included that I could follow it easily. I will definitely be checking out the first two books of this series.

I did enjoy listening to this well written recency spy mystery. The narrator was good and I had no problem understanding her British accent.

Romance but with a plot
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
This was a definitely a story that falls into the romance category. For me, that is not generally a category that I enjoy or seek out. This was also the 3rd book of a series. That being said, this book did have more to offer than I first expected and seemed to stand on its own rather well. It was a story of love, but full of intrigue and a little mystery. The dialog was a bit more modern than I would have expected, given the setting is "old world" but it wasn't so bad I couldn't finish the book. I probably won't seek out more books from this series, but if you like romance books that actually have a plot, I would highly recommend this one.
