Publisher's summary

Erin Davis will do whatever it takes to be the photographer for high-end brides. So what if capturing the moments of people's lives means she has no time for her own? Nothing will get between her and the security she craves, not even the gorgeous farmer refusing to let her shoot in his sunflowers.

His family has always been tied to the land, but lately Luke Anderson feels more like he's chained. While he ponders his future, he still has cows to milk and no time to deal with Erin or bridezillas in his fields. Yet there's something about the sexy city girl he can't say no to. So he says yes: just this once.

With the town in need of a photographer, Erin agrees to spend wedding season in Whitetail. The sparks flying between her and Luke quickly ignite, but just as Erin starts to picture her own happy ending, Luke takes a gamble that could risk it all...

Narrator had some pauses in odd places

This is the second book in this series I’ve listen to, and the narrator had pauses in odd places...like waiting for a page to turn. (Could have been a result of editing, I guess.)

Enjoyable story... narration not so hot

I normally would never write a negative review about an authors hard work. Well this story was really interesting, fun and enjoyable.

My problem is in the narration. Again I don’t like to rain on an artists hard work, but this narrator made it very difficult to first get into the story, then to complete the book.

The narrator has a very halting way of reading. There was far too much dead air between words. The trouble was it wasn’t always this way. In order to finish the book I set it to play at 1.2 times normal speed. This helped, but it was a struggle to finish the book.

The first book was well done and the narrator on that was very good.

Great Story....not reader

I really looked forward to this book after the previous. My excitement was cooled around 8 min into the book. The reader had an interesting way of pausing and clipping each word. I thought it was doe dramatic effect until I realized it was for most all words. I ask my husband to listen thinking I was being to quick to judge. He said there was no way he could listen to it. It would drive him crazy. I managed to pull through and finish as I was traveling and listening while in the car. GREAT story just not well read.

sweet story

this was a sweet story, but the narration was too staccato and clipped and became very annoying.

Love the story

Loved the story! The only problem was the horribly stilted narration of the book. It took all I had to listen through, as I looked forward to the story, but the broken up narration fully ruined the effect.

Narrator too obnoxious to listen.

I couldn't even get through the first chapter because of the narrator's tendency to break. up. every. phrase. No comment on the story; I'll have to read it.
