Not a good idea to bundle from different Authors..

Any additional comments?

This Immortal Box Set is comprised of short stories by different author's and if one or more stories are not enjoyable, it could bring the ratings down for the other authors. .

The set covers a bit of suspense, action, and lust at first sight.

The stories are pretty much random and do not relate to each other and is geared towards someone on the go and wants to read a story within a short amount of time.

Overall, this set is would be something someone would read over their lunch break or similar.

Hollie Jackson did well with the narration.

Strange Set of Stories

I got this book via audiobook boom. This was a set of paranormal romance suspense stories. They were each a quick listen some of them were funny, some strange but each had a HEA that made me smile. If you like paranormal shifters, vampires, witches and mages then you will like this set of stories. The narrator was good and kept each story moving right along. There was a lot of explicit descriptions of sex in each story.

Great Anthology!

Would you consider the audio edition of Paranormal and Loving It! to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print version but I thought the audiobook was excellent!

What other book might you compare Paranormal and Loving It! to and why?

I can't really think of a comparison. Most other anthologies that I have read are either all one author or all different authors. This one was different because each author had more than one story. I was very happy as I enjoyed all of the stories.

What about Hollie Jackson’s performance did you like?

I think she did a terrific job! She has a very nice voice that you enjoy hearing and she brings the story to life. I would definitely listen to her again!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. Because it is an anthology it was very easy to stop and restart when I had the time.

Awesome PNR Collection!!

Usually, whenever a compilation gets put together, I find that I like a few and a few are duds. NOT THIS TIME! Every story is worth the time for the listen. I was happy to discover 2 new-to-me authors whose stories intrigued me enough to want more. I already knew I loved Sotia Lazu, and the prequel to the Vampire Cherry series was great, but I was also happy to discover that her other stories are just as engrossing. Allyson Lindt's and Sofia Grey's offerings were a nice surprise. Most, if not all seem, to be offshoots of already-established series, but were still easy to follow and complete stories with HEAs--no cliffhangers- just a desire to dig deeper into their worlds and lose myself in more of these ladies' books.

This collection is heavy on werewolves but has appearances by vamps and even Norse gods, all of which are well-written and well-narrated. Hollie Jackson does an excellent job with a lot of great material. 15 hours of pure PNR entertainment. that is totally credit-worthy. Loved it!

Primarily Vampires and Wolf Shifters

This collection has so many stories in it that it's an incredible value for those who like paranormal romance. The stories focus mainly on vampires, wolf shifters and a few Norse gods, but not some of the other popular paranormal elements like ghosts, witches or dragons. I'd never heard of these authors or their stories before, but there were enough pieces that I have insights on new worlds, some with twists that aren't the boring same old-same old.

I particularly liked the story about Cherry Stem, though it was too short. The different connected stories about the Snowdonian wolves also appealed to me.

I listened to these on audio, and the bad part about that is that it's hard to know in the android app where you are in the many stories. It's not a deal breaker, but some readers may prefer to read over listening for that reason.

The narrator did a fine job, and her accents for England, Wales and New Zealand were different from each other and pleasant. I didn't care for some of the male voices, but on the whole she did a good job that helped service the story instead of bring attention to the narration itself.

I recommend this for (paranormal) romance readers and those who might want a little something extra in their paranormal romance. There is a LOT here, so you won't be bored.

So many great stories!

Would you listen to Paranormal and Loving It! again? Why?

Yes, although possibly not all of the stories, I definitely liked some more than others although I didn't dislike any of them.

Who was your favorite character and why?

No favorite this time, with so many books in the set, it's too hard to choose.

What does Hollie Jackson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Talk about a tough job for a narrator, there were a lot of different voices that Hollie had to make work and she did a really good job of it. Some of the accents sounded a little off to me but not overly so, I imagine a New Zealand accent is a bit of a challenge!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, but I think that's because it's multiple books within a book. I listened to each of the books in the set in a sitting sometimes more than one in a sitting. I found this really convenient because I could fit in a book whenever I had a couple of hours to spare.
It would have been nice if there was a way to know how long each book is and where it starts/ends in the recording.

Any additional comments?

Some of the books in the set follow on from earlier stories in the set, so you do need to listen in order.

I really enjoyed some of the stories and the worlds they're based in.

The books worked together well as a set.

The Title Says It All

If you could sum up Paranormal and Loving It! in three words, what would they be?

Worth Every Penny

Who was your favorite character and why?

It's hard to have a favorite character when this is a compilation of several stories. It's a great way to relax after a hard day at work. It also helps on the commute going to work.

What does Hollie Jackson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She had a pleasant voice and one where you don't feel that you're being yelled at. Ms. Jackson does a great job of bringing the story to life. Because she's actually narrating several books, it's a great way to showcase her range as a narrator.

Any additional comments?

I'm having some family issues that is adding a lot of extra stress in my life at this time. I needed something to help bring that stress level down and help me to think of something else for a change. This was the perfect set to listen to. The narrator had just the right tone as she was reading that it made me stop and listen to what she was telling me. Being a box set, you get to try out several authors and then your decision is what you plan to listen to next.

Several Short Paranormal Romance Stories

This is a compilation of short paranormal stories from three authors. You will find stories about vampires, wolf shifters, and Gods. I really enjoyed all of them. My only complaint is that some stories ended too soon.

The narrator did a great job bringing the story to life. I liked each story and would listen to them again. All three authors are great.

Paranormal and Loving It

Any additional comments?

Just a fun collection of paranormal short stories by several different authors. I have listened to a story by Sotia Lazu before, but Sofia Grey and Allyson Lindt are both new authors for me. I enjoyed all of the stories in this set, some more than others but all of them were very entertaining, enjoyable and interesting.

Vampires, Shifters, a Cupid and a Demi-God what's not to like. Along with a bit of steamy romance, suspense, drama, intrigue and more.

I really like that each story was a stand alone. More variety and different characters. Several of the stories are semi -related or set in the same "world" in an authors series. The stories included in this boxed set are;

Dreaming of a Wolf (Snowdonia)
Cherry Pop
Operation Winter Cupid
Caging the Wolf (Snowdonia)
Wolf for Christmas (Fangs and Fur)
Unleashed (Fangs and Fur)
Courting Mortality (Brothers of Fate bk 1)
Seducing Destiny (Brother of Fate bk 2)
A very Wolfie Christmas (Snowdonia)

Hollie Jackson does a great job with the narration. Pleasant voice. Easy on the ears. Really good character voices. Even her male character voices are good. Some of her character voices I prefer more than the others but that doesn't mean the others are bad either. That's just a personal preference. She has a variety of accents as well that just add to the enjoyment of her narration. Clearly spoken with a nice even pace. Very enjoyable
