HAPPINESS ONCE AGAIN

Where does One Winter's Night rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

THE TOP WITH THE REST OF THEM. IF I COULD MAKE ALL OF THEM #1. I WOULD!!

What other book might you compare One Winter's Night to and why?

"SECRET AGENDA", WRITTEN BY ROCHELLE ALERS. DIEGO COLE-THOMAS ALSO FALLS IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE WHO WORKS FOR HIM.

Which scene was your favorite?

WHEN HE EXPLAINED THAT HE KNEW HER BODY. HE KNEW JUST BY LOOKING AT THE PICTURE THAT IT WASN'T HER. HE BELIEVE IN HER. THAT MADE ME CRY!!!!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

WHEN HE TOOK HER TO HIS FAMILY DINNER. AT THAT MOMENT I KNOW THAT HE LOVED HER.

Any additional comments?

EVERYONE WANTS SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES IN THEM. HOW LOVES THEM KNOW MATTER WHAT. THAT IS JUST WHAT I WANT FOR MY SELF.

Liked it

Good story.... but a lot like Zane. Was just a tad predictable storyline. Nevertheless... still love those Denver Westmorelands!

It was Ok.

The narrator I love, the book just ok. This book eludes to Zane & Bane romance spinoffs, I hope they are more exciting than this book.

Riley! Riley! Riley!

Would you consider the audio edition of One Winter's Night to be better than the print version?

haven't read the printed version will probably do later.

What was one of the most memorable moments of One Winter's Night?

The trip to Memphis - hot and steamy; the confrontation about the video between Riley and Alpha how he knew it was not her; and when he came to his cousin Megan's house during her meeting with Alpha that was funny.

What three words best describe Avery Glymph’s voice?

good for the male part and narrations but not for the female.- hard time visualizing

Any additional comments?

have both female and male narrators when reading the book will give better imagery

Boring

Boring story. Narration pretty good. Conflict not believable. But, I'm glad every encounter was not detailed.

Conflict

This was one of my favorite love stories by Brenda Jackson. I loved Riley’s openness and straight to the point attitude.
The only hiccup I have is the way the conflict between them was handled.
This is such a beautiful well written love story and I think at the company’s party would have been the perfect place for Riley and Alpha to proclaim their love and later that night Alpha would have open up and shared here family secrets.
Also, Riley and Alpha wedding was written into the story just to see how her parents and sister interacted with each other, hoping they were able to forgive her and stop causing separation and holding on to bitterness and animosity.

Another great Westmoreland story

Love the Colorado cold and some Westmoreland heat. Riley and Alpha are a steamy pair. They're combustible from the beginning. Both have baggage, but in the end they both discover true love wins. Brenda Jackson rules!
