"Once Again" was a good short story but I would have liked it to be a bit longer. It was easier to understand where the author was coming from after looking at the blurb from book one and seeing that her stories are about second chances or new beginnings which I like.
I think the stories and characters are good only needing a little more meat. If wanted, these are perhaps buildable characters for the future as well. I liked the characters of Evie and Grady and the fact that that this was a CLEAN romance.
Michelle Blenker's narration was pretty nice. She has a nice voice. The one thing I felt was that she read to fast. I had to look twice to see if it was somehow set on 1.25 or more because I listen at regular speed. Otherwise, her performance was good.

If you could sum up Once Again in three words, what would they be?
Fast, Moving, Exciting
What about Michelle Blenker’s performance did you like?
Blenker really brought the characters to life. Her performance did not get in the way of the story, like some can.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would have if I had the time.
Any additional comments?
I received this book free from the author, for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book.

This is my second Kristi Rose book, and again, she brought a wonderful short love story to my ears. The Coming Home series is heartwarming. From the beginning of this story when Evie runs into Grady, you cannot help but root for the two of them to get back together. From their past to their present, they are able to confront the issues and overcome.
Michelle Blenker performs this short well, though at times, she reads very quickly. Enjoyed her voices.

BOOK REVIEW.....
It's a sweet, fast story. The characters could've had a little more depth to them but over all it's a nice story
AUDIO REVIEW......
The narrator was good. She read at a nice pace and spoke clearly. Well done.

Perfect little listen for a long wait. Kudos to the author for just enough mention of the other characters in the series to make you want to go back and listen in order. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Would you try another book from Kristi Rose and/or Michelle Blenker?
Yes, I would try another book by these two because it was a 'feel good" story with a happy ending and that's one my favorite types of books.
Would you be willing to try another book from Kristi Rose? Why or why not?
I will be looking for another book so I can enjoy listening to short little happy books that can be listened to all in one sitting.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The performance was pleasant and compelling in some parts and lighthearted in others. I like the faact that the main couple were together in their younger years and managed to get back together through sheer fate!
There wasn't anything that I didn't like !
Could you see Once Again being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
I watch several daytime soaps and I think that Evie and Grady would make a cute couple on General Hospital. They could be a pleasant break from all of the sad drama on those types of shows.
Any additional comments?
Even though this is a short story I totally enjoyed the interaction between the main characters. I really like the part in which Grady was climbing down out of the attic and Evie was standing below watching him and was surprised to see a handsome young guy instead of an old guy that she thought was moving in. I really got a kick out of it !!
Kristie Rose's short stories are about second chances. The characters are the kind that you want to get together and she does this very quickly in her stories. They are so likable that I wanted more. Maybe the author will take these characters and put them in a longer book. I know that I would read it! The narrator was very good, not having all the pauses that some of the narrators have. Her voice is very pleasant.

Evie noticed a U-Haul in the driveway of the house next door. Expecting a crew of frat boys, she went over to give them the ground rules. What she didn't expect was Grady, her one and only high school love.
Grady has been in the military and was was ready to come home. As a young man, his first instinct was to do anything to get out of the town where he grew up. However, a couple of tours of duty let him see the beauty of his hometown.
Grady couldn't believe it when he saw Evie on his front porch. So much time has gone by but little had changed.
Will they be able to rekindle a relationship that ended with hurt and desertion?
Once again, (ha ha) I find myself frustrated because this is such a short story. Period. It is well-written and there's plenty of room for a deeper plot and longer book. I hope the author chooses to try that as I would be a paying customer.
Michelle Blenker performs the roles very well – including, both male and female 30-year-old, a 60 something-year-old and a few other characters that weren't pertinent to the story for me to remember.
Notes: There is absolutely nothing to worry about here. No strong language, mature themes or anything like that. This is a (too) short story about love.
