Publisher's Summary

New York Times Best-Selling Author Cynthia Wright comes a captivating novel of love and renewal! When the reckless Marquess of Sandhurst is forced by King Henry VIII into an arranged marriage with a young French widow, he conceives a bold masquerade to outwit the king. Disguised as a humble portrait painter, Sandhurst travels to the French court of Francois I to have a look at his would-be bride.

Micheline Tevoulere, friend of Aimee and Thomas de St. Briac, has agreed to marry an unseen English nobleman because she has given up on love. Yet, when she sits for a portrait by a dashing artist with tender eyes, her heart begins to thaw. As passion blooms, Sandhurst refuses to reveal his true identity unless Micheline renounces her betrothal to the wealthy and powerful Marquess of Sandhurst...even though he is his own rival!

LOVED IT!!! Great narration and fantastic story!!

This story was amazing! It's the trifecta of books.
First...Tim Campbell narration was beyond amazing. I seriously think he could make the phone book sound interesting His narration is just that good. He brings a new level of enjoyment to Cynthia Wright's book!! Second...I got to revisit an old couple I fell in love with Aimee and Thomas. It's always nice to see how beloved couples are doing and to see how their story is progressing.
Third...The story line with Michelin and Andrew was so much fun. Just when you think it's going to end another twist happened. Great narration, old friends revisited, fantastic story...I highly recommend this book!

Loved every minute!

"What a Sequel! <3"
I must admit it threw me off a bit that Thomas and Aimee's accents had changed to those with a thicker French accent .. unlike in the first book.. (I literally went from listening from You and No Other right to this one lol), but after a while I got used to it and recognized the need for the change. Once again LOVE the combo of Cynthia Wright and Tim Campbell. Tim reading Cynthia’s beautiful story has brought Micheline and Andrew to life for me. The loss of what they once thought was love, and then the discovery of new true love in a manner neither were expecting! The history woven throughout, and the way that Tim is able to make it seem like you are there is amazing! Loved this book!

Epic Romance

Would you consider the audio edition of Of One Heart to be better than the print version?

An audiobook, no matter how good the narrator, couldn't be good if the story itself wasn't good to begin with. The narration certainly helps with the enjoyment of the story though.

What other book might you compare Of One Heart to and why?

I can't compare Of One Heart to any other book, for me, it's a one of kind thoroughly enjoyable epic story.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were many wonderful scenes in this book, but without giving spoilers I have to say that my favourite happens at the end of the story. If you listen to or read the story you will see for yourself why it is an amazing moment involving King Henry, Andrew, Micheline and Andrew's half-brother!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I wouldn't call it an extreme reaction, I didn't sob, or laugh like a mad woman, but yes I did find myself running the gamut of emotions during listening to this story. I was grateful for the lighthearted moments which helped keep the book from being dark at times.

Any additional comments?

I loved this story, and the narration was very well done. I fully enjoyed each and every voice that Tim Campbell performed, from adult males and females to young children, he did wonderfully. He brought the story to life. The only reason I didn't afford him 5 stars is because as yet I have only heard one narrator who is absolutely perfect, and he is the only one I can give 5 stars to. Tim comes a very close second though!
