Dark, brooding Jack Davenport hides his secrets well, never telling his wife about the dangers of his job, never sharing his thoughts or worries... never sharing himself. After tragedy strikes, their marriage shatters. Now a threat to Catherine Blackburn's life brings her back into his - and gives them a second chance.

A reporter whose most recent investigation has ignited a national controversy and put her in harm's way, Cat thinks she can handle herself. So when Jack grabs her off the street and sweeps her to his home above Eternity Springs, she's furious.

In the warm sanctuary of the Eternity Springs community, Jack and Cat face the heartache that drove them apart. But can they find the courage to pick up the pieces of a shattered love?

Great 2nd Chance story!

I love Emily March books. They incorporate love, loss, redemption, tears, joy, sadness, and laughter. Love the characters, the story lines, and the endings. Highly recommend you read from book1. Each book brings in a new character that you see in each successive book.

Another sweet adventure in Eternity Springs

What made the experience of listening to Nightingale Way the most enjoyable?

I both read and listened to Nightingale Way and Kathe Mazur always brings the characters and story to life. I hope she will continue to narrate the Eternity Spring Books as well as many more.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Nightingale Way?

There are lots of them...you'll have to listen and find out.

Which character – as performed by Käthe Mazur – was your favorite?

Jack

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were quite a few. I won't give anything away, but conversations at the hot springs....and a mystery revealed were two of my favorites.

Any additional comments?

I have enjoyed listening to all the Eternity Springs books and I will listen to them again. You don't have to listen to the stories in order, but I highly recommend it.

Another poor ending

Seriously… sections of the book were excellent but as the last third started it, like the previous book in the series, went off the rails. Too late to return.

Entertaining with funny parts, but stereotypical endings

This ties together the previous books in this series nicely. The intimate scenes are tamely and vaguely described. Some of the author’s phrases are a bit repetitive. But her storyline is interesting with a happy ending albeit predictable and somewhat stereotypical and unrealistic. It’d be nice to see a happy divorce or happy blue collar main character. A person shouldn’t have to be dependent on a spouse for happiness .

Blah blah

Moved so slowly. Characters have no “life” and you can’t differentiate who’s who. No thrill or action or connecting feelings with characters. Doubt will read this author again

too cheesy for my taste

ok for the genre not for me due to the Cinderella quality of the romance.
