A terrific tale of redemption and love

I LOVE a good redemption story. Jaguar shifter Sebastian Severino has always been chaotic neutral. Doing what is best for him at the time and let the chips fall where they may. But for the last few books, since he discovered his half sister, he has become conflicted. New Moon may be the last book in this series (pout) but it is a whole new beginning for Sebastian and a large part of that has to do with wolf shifter Isabelle Wood. Secrets come out and justice is done. A really enjoyable story. I preferred the female voice but overall a great listen.

Yay!! Love that this is in audio!!

Loved this one! Love this series!! I was so excited when this came out in audio! I read the book first, and was looking forward to the audio. The narrators did a great job, and I loved that there is both a male and female narrator. It looks like their are different narrators for Lisa Kessler's other books, so I'll definitely have to check out the rest! Sebastian is sort of an anti-hero, which I totally love, and I really enjoyed watching him find love. Isabelle is a total kick butt female, which is another thing I totally love, and I enjoy reading about a romance that the characters try to deny, but they can't resist the pull towards each other. Along with the sweet, deep romance, there's lots of great action scenes, and I loved seeing characters from the past books; it's great to see the different groups come together! Sebastian is a Jaguar shifter, whose father is evil, and Sebastian has been his right hand man for awhile, so Sebastian has compiled quite the list of enemies, but he's beginning to see that his father's actions aren't working towards a favorable outcome. Isabelle is a werewolf shifter, who father disappeared when she was younger, she found out the Sebastian and his father may have had a hand in her father's disappearance, so she has plans to take Sebastian down, but when her wolf won't let her, she doesn't know what to think. I enjoyed reading about the differences between jaguar shifters and wolf shifters, and there's an element of suspense throughout the book that kept my interest. The romance is wonderful, they have some hot moments, and they are really cute with each other; I had several awww moments! Love them as a couple! When I pick up a Lisa Kessler book, I know I'm in for some wonderful characters, exciting storylines, and passionate, heartfelt romance! I'll definitely be reading more by Kessler!

Exciting

This is a Romeo and Juliette type shifter romance. Jaguar shifter falls in love with a wolf. His powerful father will stop at nothing to get what he wants even if he has to kill his son's love. A tale of power, government secrets. kidnapping and shifters who must decide which enemy to fight for. I received a complimentary audio and I am voluntarily reviewing.

Heart-rending

The narrators were great! The different voices and accents made it easy to follow along .
Sebastian has been playing both sides of the jaguar and werewolf war. Isabelle has decided to end his life in order to keep the Sedona pack safe. But the moment she touched him her wolf won't let her hurt him because he is her mate. Isabelle can see moments when the real Sebastian emerges before his icy demeanor reappears.
Antonio has kidnapped his grand-daughter Madeline and the pack has to ask Sebastian for help. Isabelle finds out information on her mother and father. Sebastian does everything he can to save Madeline, Isabelle and the rest of the pack, even if it means his death.
This is a spine-tingling book that brings the series to an end. I fell in love with all of the characters in this whole series. I was rooting for Sebastian's redemption from the very first book. I am so glad he got his happy ever after.
I recommend this book as well as the whole series!
