Another Steamy Historical!!!!

Would you listen to Myriah Fire again? Why?

Absolutely! I adore Claudy Conn's books. Her writing is very descriptive and you feel as if you're in the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Myriah. Claudy writes the best feisty heroines.

What does Stevie Zimmerman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Stevie always brings the characters to life. She was the perfect narrator for this book. Much better than me reading it on my own.

When Myriah's father catches her kissing Sir Roland, he demands she announce their engagement. There's only one problem though. She doesn't love him. So, she does the only logical thing and runs away to her grandfather's house and meets an injured man along the way. But, it is the injured man's older brother who catches Myriah's eye and ultimately her heart.

I love love love Claudy Conn's historical romances. They are always filled with love, suspense, and a feisty heroine who finds the love of her life despite the odds against them.

I loved the relationship between Myriah and Billy. They were a hoot every time they were together. And Kit and Myriah were just plain HOT together. This is a well written love story filled with suspense and adventure…where the feisty heroine, together with the hunky hero are sexually explosive!!! I really enjoy romances like this, and you will too. This audio, narrated by the incomparable Stevie Zimmerman, was sweet and sensual throughout. Bravo Miss Claudy…another job well done!!!
