Publisher's Summary

Medical student Sophie White is working two jobs to pay for her college tuition. But when she meets the handsome, dark and mysterious Mark, she is thrust into a world that she never knew existed.

A man of confidence, Mark exudes a quiet power and seductiveness, but who he is and how he acquired his wealth remain a mystery. When he meets the lovely Sophie White, he is smitten, and despite every fiber in his body telling him not to, he brings her into his dark world.

This is the first book in the Mr. Dark series. Each book is a full-length novel with an HEA and no cheating! Each book focuses on a different couple.

Worst narration ever

The narration is like a 6th grader reading and the mistakes weren't edited. Extremely amateurish. The story is ridiculous and contrived but would be tolerable if the narrator was better

This book failed to reach it's potential.

The story got so ridiculous in spots, I almost stopped reading., but otherwise was okay. The narrator was the biggest problem. His voice is good but his inflections were consistently wrong! To the point it made it hard to keep up with what was going on. Maybe if he read through the material before recording would help? Seriously bad!

Great story- AWFUL NARATION

The narrator sounded as if he were reading the script for the first time, no flow, also perhaps it was the editing... but so very often the same line was repeated. Oh , and at one point there was a belch! Not intended for the story. Read this book just don't listen....
frustratedly I had to listen the whole way to hear the ending...

Quality Control???

This recording was horrible. Either the narrator stumbled horrible several times or the editor of this audiobook shouls be fired. I cannot believe Audible allowed such a poor quality product in the selections. The poor quality narration completely overshadowed the story. The story is over the top ridiculous but I can overlook that usually. I struggled to finish.

ACTION, ADVENTURE & LOVE

loads of action , not just as 'renegades' but in the bedroom. Quick connecting of 2 complete opposites Mark an assassin at the very start & Medical Student Sophie.
Come and see how these 2 connect & will always be connected

Wasn't a favourite

I gave up 1/2 way through really didn't get into it having a good guy narrator makes me look forward to the listening experience, I would of enjoyed this book more it it had both male and female narrators

I have just listened to books like this before and enjoyed them a lot more

Guess you might need to listen and judge for yourself
