Publisher's summary

All I want for Christmas is Everett and Evie!

When I go out to chop down a Christmas tree, the last thing I expect to find is a woman caught in a snowstorm. But there she is, lost and alone. And f*cking gorgeous. I take her home with me - my cabin will warm her up... and so will I.

Meeting her was serendipity... and letting her go isn’t an option. But her life isn’t built around Mistletoe Mountain the way mine is. This mountain man is hoping for a Christmas miracle.

Darling listener, this story is like a candy cane. You’ll wanna keep licking this mountain man. The cover may be sweet, but Everett and Evie are sugar and spice, and naughty and nice! May your days be merry and bright. XO, Frankie

Everett & Evie

I enjoyed this book, it is a nice insta love/lust story set at Christmas time. The characters were both strong independent people who both work from home.

Everett has given up a high powered job and moved to be almost totally self sufficient on top of Mistletoe Mountain. He makes or grows as much of what he needs as possible himself. His only companion is his dog 'Johnny Walker'. His means of financial support are books he writes about how he lives, making soap, growing food etc., He thinks he's happy until the day before Christmas Eve he rescues Evie who is lost in a snowstorm on his mountain.

Evie is a writer too, but she writes a blog, in her blog she includes almost everything she does in her life, partying, clubbing and crafting, she couldn't me more different from Everett. In fact it's the crafting bit that makes her go up to Mistletoe Mountain to cut down some branches to make Christmas Wreaths for her neighbours which she intends to deliver on Christmas morning. She chooses to go up the mountain just before a massive surprise snowstorm hits and she becomes lost.

When things look to be at their worst Everett and Johnny Walker find her and Everett takes her home to his cabin in the woods. Once there they find that they both feel an intense attraction to each other, both of them feel that it is more than just sex. The chemistry and the sex between them is super hot and very well written and their feelings begin to deepen but neither one of them is prepared to ask the other to change their lifestyles and so on Christmas Morning when the storm has past Everett takes Evie home.

But will this be the end of them? Are their feelings too strong to be denied? Will either one of them totally change their way of life? Could a long term relationship work for these two? All these questions are answered in this short, sexy story which I reccomend you listen to.

As far as the listening goes I would just like to say that the narrator Logan McAllister has one of those voices that I could listen to all day, it's super warm and sexy. Not only that he was able to express the emotion and feelings of both Evie and Everett really well.

I want a mountain man

This book is part of a series but it can be read as a standalone.

Short, sweet and hot, this is a great book for when you want something you can finish in one sitting. The romance in this book is great, Evie and Everett seem like opposites and yet the chemistry between them is sparking. I really enjoyed listening to it and I'd listen to it again.

The character voices are well done and the delivery was excellent, really easy to listen to and a good match for the book.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

Great quickie

Audible: Narrator – Logan McAllister

This was a quick Christmas audio with lots of insta-lust, insta-love, insta-I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. And it was perfect for that time between lengthier books which I wasn’t ready to delve into yet. The narrator did a great job for Everett. His voice and so smooth and deep and pretty dang dreamy. It was a little rougher to listen to him do Evie’s voice but it wasn’t something I didn’t adjust to quickly.

Evie is lost in the woods up in the mountains looking for pine/cedar to make wreaths for her friends and neighbors. Fortunately, Everett comes across her and brings her back to his mountain home. What follows is everything delicious about mountain men, lost women in pink, Christmas and mistletoe. Done in true Frankie Love fashion, this is the perfect little read when you want a little something nice and a lot naughty.

Mistletoe Mountain

Not much of a storyline here, even for a short book. Narration was decent, although I had to listen closely at times for character names to discern between them. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Cute Christmas Story

This was a cute LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT Christmas story. They couldn't be more different but they fell in love on Mistletoe Mountain.

Narration was good. I could have used a little more difference between the female and male voices but other than that, i had no complaints :)

Overall i thought it was a fun quick read.

Sweet Holiday Romance

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes, I enjoyed listening to this book. I can see myself listening to it next holiday.

Would you be willing to try another book from Frankie Love? Why or why not?

This was my first from this author but I can see myself reading another book from her. It really loved the connection between Everett and Evie. Usually mountain men are gruff and loners but Everett came across very sweet and welcoming. Evie was just a sweet heart looking for love and unexpectedly found it in the mountains.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed Logan McAllister in this book. He did a good job with his narration. I usually don't like for a male narrator to do both voices in a dual pov but he did good with this one.
