She needs a fake fiancé….

With the holidays fast approaching, Miranda Flores makes up a fake fiancé so her well-meaning family will get off her back. She just never expected them to suddenly show up on her doorstep a couple weeks before Christmas, wanting to spend the holidays with her. So she turns to Nolan O'Connor, her sexy best friend, and asks him for the favor of a lifetime: she needs him to act the part of her fiancé until her parents leave town.

He wants forever….

Pretending to be engaged to the woman he's already fallen for? No problem. Nolan agrees to Miranda's fake engagement scheme because as far as he's concerned, she's the one. But he plays his role too well, because soon the entire town thinks they're engaged and things get more complicated - especially since he can't pretend with her anymore. Then tragedy strikes and Miranda tries to shut him out, but Nolan won't let her. He'll do whatever it takes to convince her that he wants to make her his forever.

Another great Reus story

Mistletoe Me, Baby by Katie Reus
This is a continuation of the O'Connor family. This story has Nolan and Miranda Flores, who have been friends for some years. Miranda finds herself telling her parents that she is engaged and then needs to find someone to be her fiance while her parents are in town for the holidays. Nolan readily agrees to do it. Of course when the town finds out they are engaged, the fake engagement gets complicated fast. Nolan loves and is fine with that. They have a tragedy to deal with and Nolan is there for Miranda. This was a good story that I very much enjoyed. I always know I will get a story that will keep me engrossed the whole time with Katie. Sophie Eastlake is once again the narrator of Katie's book.

Great Book!

This is a great book; this is the fourth book in the O’Connor Family Series written by Katie Reus and narrated by Sophie Eastlake. This book can be read as a standalone, but once you read it you will defiantly want to go back and catch up with the other books in this series. With the holidays fast approaching, Miranda Flores makes up a fake fiancé so her well-meaning family will get off her back. She just never expected them to suddenly show up on her doorstep a couple weeks before Christmas, wanting to spend the holidays with her. So she turns to Nolan O’Connor, her sexy best friend, and asks him for the favor of a lifetime: she needs him to act the part of her fiancé until her parents leave town. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. The narrator did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end. If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

I just love the O'Connors

I absolutely loved this story. Yet another O'Connor who couldn't love it.
Kate and Nolan have been best friends although he has always wanted more he never let it be known.
Kate's parents are visiting and now she needs a fiancé.
Well Nolan to the rescue. Will it be all that he dreamed of?
Well grab your copy and listen. The narrator does a wonderful job and is so clear it's like the book just comes to life.

Awesome listen!

I would recommend Mistletoe Me, Baby – (The O’Connor Family Series) by Katie Reus, as a quick holiday listen. Inventing a fake fiancé to get her family to leave her alone was the only plan Miranda Flores had in telling her parents she was engaged. However, when they decide to visit her for the holidays she is stuck with her “little white lie” and no fiancé. In steps Nolan O’Connor, her best friend, who agrees to be her “fake” fiancé. Nolan has secretly fallen for Miranda and has just been waiting for the opportunity to move from the friend slot to something way more than that. He has his work cut out for him with Miranda’s ready-made family and her unwillingness to let anyone too close. As news of their “engagement” filters though the town the deception becomes more and more complicated – Nolan doesn’t want to pretend and Miranda is all about keeping it fake. The characters in this novella were well developed and very likeable. The whole idea of a town that centers on Christmas 365 days a year is quaint and homey. There is a definite heat and chemistry between Miranda and Nolan. Sophie Eastlake does a great job with the characters and narration of the book. She is a great voice actress and seems to bring the story to life for you.
