Only 1 book of 3 in audiobook and it's Cliffhanger
With that said after reading all the good reviews on Goodreads it seemed like a must read. I really want to give this a good review and recommend that you dive in even if you have to read the other books in the series. I think my expectations were too high.
The story starts off kind of slow to me I couldn't bring myself to be interested in Nora. The story is told in a slow burn kind of way but it never really gave me the feels. Dean is masterful at his approach with Nora. I just think there was too much of Nora's inner dialog of her trying to convince us of who she is and what she's about that I miss out on the real story and the twisty parts. Maybe I just tuned out. Or maybe the Mindf**k for me is there is no mindf**k.
Maybe it's just a book that is better if you read it. I would still recommend it(I'm too critical) if all the books are on audiobook but since they're not I'm having a hard time doing so.
