Publisher's summary

A mermaid transformation sci-fi fantasy romance.

Alex is the popular kid in high school and knows it. He's the kind of guy who is used to getting his way and has little regard for others. That is until tragedy strikes and alters his life forever.

Now, Alex is trying to redeem himself by righting the wrongs of his past. All while desperately trying to control a freaky side effect from the accident - the ability to transform into a mermaid. It's a twisted tale of love, friendship, and life with a tail.

Great story and incredible narration

This story was very entertaining, primarily because of the outstanding narration by Heather Kae Smith. She did a tremendous job at immersing the listener in the story.

My only minor complaints were that there was often a faint echo in the narration (as though the room wasn’t properly soundproofed) and the chapters felt too short and many could have been combined to reduce the jarring pauses in the story.

But I didn’t see these items as warranting the remove of a star because I do consider this to be a 5-star story.
