Great Series

The first book I loved. The second book was a little hard for me because of my profession. This book made me feel. Not many books do that. What I like about this series is that it's real . Thanks

Awesome Author

Recently started reading Carina Coles books. Her writing allows one to be lost in the characters. One can relate to each in some way. I find myself laughing out loud and then crying . She is able to stir many emotions . Occasionally the performance of one of the narrators can be annoying....has a whiny voice. I often find it difficult to listen to all books in a series at once but not the case with Carina's. That to me speaks volumes!

OMG!!!

I cried through much of this book! Lucas has the most loving heart pure soul and you just want to love him! if you aren't into emotional and heart wrenching this book is not for you! I loved it!

From grief to love

Book 3 of Ashes & Embers series, but can be read as a standalone.

Good story about finding love after betrayal. Does contain some "why are these people so stupid" sections, but it kept me interested with well-drawn characters and good backstories.

My steaminess rating: sizzling, with dirty talk, heat and graphic descriptions but mostly vanilla.

Narrators are okay.

This is funny, heartbreaking and love

Lukas's story is the best! I laughed and cried. there was heartbreaking things. The ending was completely unexpected and perfect.

Smiles, smiles, smiles!

Listening to this book, I found myself with a dopey smile on my face the majority of the time! The narrators were totally in sync with the voices. I knew exactly who each character was regardless of who was narrating. I don't usually relisten to audiobooks, but, this may be the first!

Gives Hope to Us Older Women

The older woman was only 36, not yet in her sexual peak of mid 40’s but the age span of 11 years was genuine and uplifting. Thank you Carian for creating this believable relationship. Most romances have characters in their 20’s. My son couldn’t be relied on to take out the garbage until he had his own apartment, let alone have the maturity most romances give their couples. It was a wonderful listen. Enough said.

One of my favorite books!!

I cannot count the amount of times I have listened to this book. Ms. Cole is able to make you truly understand all of the characters and show such tender moments between the two protagonists. The actors have perfect voices and create a perfect story.

Great character's and narration. Really liked the storyline, Lukas melts my heart with his sweetness!

This story is filled with so much love and sentimentalism. Really loved it. Lukas has so much love to give, it’s very powerful and beautiful.
