Publisher's summary

Lucky had always led a life of service. He had always put his life on the line for someone else, managing to survive by pure luck and skill. After bringing an end to a multistate drug ring, he was finally able to live the life he had wanted as a Last Rider.

A good man would walk away and not touch the curvy woman who had been tugging on his heartstrings. Lucky wasn't a good man. Therefore the bad-ass biker in him had a choice: once again become the man he had pretended to be and stake his claim or take the devil's highway.

Great and Sexy

Hurray, Elizabeth Hart was back to narrate and what a difference that made. The story was sexy and sometimes the characters, i.e., Willa started out very annoying but it was great to see her character get a backbone. I found myself laughing a lot. Ms. Begley writes the interaction between the characters wonderfully. I was laughing a lot with the back and forth between Ryder and Lucky and Shade and Moon. Very funny. Again, a sexy book with some very funny scenes. Thoroughly enjoyable and hurray for bringing back the narrator Elizabeth Hart. It seems Audible does listen to us, and that is much appreciated! Thank you Audible.

Love this Book

Well written biker book, but with a whole lot more to it. I am so hocked on the series and happy I found thos author.
PS The romance package is a must because it gives people like myself a chance to find new authors I did not know of. I am happy and next book will use credit and will get the whole series.

I really liked this one

Willa is the sweetest! It's always the nicest people who get treated the worst by bullies and assholes. And Lucky is an asshole, but one that grows to love her deeply. I like the way they dealt with topics like weight shaming, bullying, PTSD and latent trauma from a fucked up mother and emotionally absent father. Some of her insecurities touched me deeply, as it triggered some of my old wounds. I'm glad she stood up for herself to the club, Sissy and others. And Sissy was just like her bitch mother. I was hoping they would get rid of her. I grew to love Lucky and enjoy his relationship with Willa

More happy tears or sad tears?

I really thought that Willa and Lucky’s story couldn’t be more touching than Shade and Lilly’s. It was a really close, but I think I liked this book more. I’m not sure if I shed more happy tears or sad tears. There was still the angst associated with jealousy for both the Hero and Heroine;this is the one thing that I really hate. I also dislike it when either the H or h gets an ex of their partner thrown in their face. Ok, I know that if everything was perfect the story would suck.
This book also addresses PTSD and how much it can affect your life and relationships.

There were really a lot of beautiful, touching scenes, in this book. I can’t remember the last time I listened to a book that wasn’t written by Nicholas Sparks that I found so touching.. This book is definitely worth a credit, and a relisten, in the future.

Worst book

I wanted Lucky’s story to be good, but another “Good Christian” simpleton ruined another story in this series. Seriously, Shade’s POV has been the only bearable entry. The rest are best done on fast forward. Must the author emasculate every her?

Love love love love Lucky

Love Lucky and Willow. He is hot biker bada$$ centered in goodness and she is kind and sweet with a fiery core that fits Lucky perfectly. I can’t get enough of these lost rider bikers. Narration is perfection. I read the book and listened to the audible version. Just perfection.

I only have the audio version

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lucky's Choice?

when willa finally realizes lucky really does love her for her...

What about Elizabeth Hart’s performance did you like?

sometimes the voices sounded the same for different characters....

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Big Girls do have a lot to offer...

Any additional comments?

a true depiction of what plus size women go through all their lives with bullies....And that a true man is not afraid to accept what his heart is telling him to look at the womans inter beauty...

Middle of the Road

I'm not completely done listening to the story yet but already know this is my least favorite story line of all the Last Riders so far. First. I can not stand it when an author writes the female lead as wimpy and completely down on themselves!!!! That is how Willa is portrayed- larger clothing sizes, dumpy hair color, poor self esteem, unable to stand up and be heard. It just grates on me. She lets everyone walk all over her, from the kids she's taking care of, the townspeople to of course, the Last Riders. And of course, she comes off as all virginal, innocent and relying on her faith to see her through. Come on! Give the girl a sturdier backbone!!!! I like Lucky's character but just did not feel the connection at all between him and Willa. I'm skipping chapters on this one just so I have the background to go onto the next books in the series. Definitely not one of my favorites to listen to.
