Publisher's summary

Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers features a group of fun, flirty, and emotional friends who gather each summer at their Cape Cod cottages. They're sassy, flawed, and so easy to relate to, you'll be begging to enter their circle of friends!

Lovers at Seaside, by Addison Cole, is the sweet edition of New York Times best-selling author Melissa Foster's steamy romance novel Seaside Lovers. The story conveys all the passion you expect between two people in love, without any explicit scenes or harsh language.

In Lovers at Seaside:

After months of long-distance communication, actress Parker Collins and artist Grayson Lacroux finally plan to reconnect in the seaside town of Wellfleet, Massachusetts. But Parker never shows, and weeks pass without a word, leaving Grayson to believe he’s misinterpreted their budding relationship.

Parker has been running on autopilot ever since she lost her friend, mentor, and the only family she’s ever known, Bert Stein. Armed with junk food, tequila, and her big, lovable dog, she’s prepared to hole up and mourn - and determined to mend a fence Bert had never been able to with his estranged and bitter brother. But Parker didn’t count on the handsome artist she’s been fantasizing about for nearly a year walking in on her grief-induced drunken night.

When Grayson stumbles across Parker, he has no idea what to make of the gorgeous blonde who blew him off despite the chemistry between them. But that doesn’t stop him from feeling protective of the woman who’s consumed his thoughts for months, and when he learns of Parker’s plans to confront an angry old man, he refuses to leave her side. As Parker’s past unfolds, they’re led on an unexpected journey of discovery. Their connection deepens until good intentions spark painful secrets, threatening the love they’ve found.

I loved this!

In this book, we have Grayson, an ironworker from the Cape, Parker, an actress from California, and a big, loveable dog named Christmas. This is an interesting group that comes together after Grayson has won a contest featuring his work. With lots of cute, adorable babies, the funny ladies of seaside, and their hot, sexy men, you know this book is going to be sweet with heat, and it is. I loved this book from the beginning, all the way to the end. I had read the book earlier, and then listened the audiobook. Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow, as narrators just added to the wonderful book written by Addison Cole. I enjoyed it again, through their voices.

One of my favorites by Addison Cole!

Grayson Lacroux and Parker Collins have spent the last year emailing each other, who knew the emails would lead to more. I loved getting to know Parker (Polly) and her history and of course Grayson is right there in the thick of things as well. Parker has a very sad past and when Grayson finds her she has hit rock bottom. Grayson is there for her and helps her deal with her loss and all the challenges yet to come. This book has everything – friendship, family, love, and forgiveness. What more could you want and of course Christmas is the finishing touch. This was a great audio book to listen to narrated by the duo of Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow. I’ve really come to enjoy listening to duo narrators and thought these two did a really great job bringing one of my favorite Addison Cole books to life.

LOVE!!!

Another sweet with just enough heat by Addison Cole. This book is about Grayson Lacroux and Parker Collins. They have been communicating for month and had decided to meet in person in Wellfleet. Parker didn’t show. When Grayson finds her she is holed up mourning the loss of her best friend and mentor Bert. The connection between these two are there from the start. Another favorite couple to add to the long list. Narrators Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow did a great job.

Another 5 stars for Addison!

I have never found an author that I consistently love every single thing they write to the extent that this has happened with Addison. I was immediately captured by Parker and the struggles that she faced to be what others expected of her. I am not an actress but I understand the need to put on a public face. Grayson, oh how I have been looking forward to his story. He is such a perfect match for Parker and I loved watching them grow together. I appreciated the insight into the relationship that was building from afar prior to the beginning scenes of this book. It helped me anticipate how amazing things would be if these to followed their feelings!

I smiled, laughed, cried, and felt the flutters of anticipation throughout the entire book. Thank you Addison for another amazing story! I listened to this book in one sitting as I found myself unable to stop.

Parker & Grayson

I listend to the audiobook of Lovers at Seaside and the narration of Lucy River & Aiden Snow was the first time I’ve listened to both. It took me awhile to get used to their voices, mostly because I’m used to BJ Harrison, but once I did I liked them a lot.

Parker Collins is a famous actress taking a much needed break after losing someone very dear to her, her mentor and the closest thing to family she had, Bert Stein. Hiding away in Wellfleet, MA, where she feels free to grieve in solitude with no one but her dog, Christmas.

Grayson Lacroux is the artist who has been corresponding with Parker while working on her project for the past year. They separately fell for each other over months of communications, planning to meet, but Parker didn’t show. Then by accident he happens upon her in her hour of desperate grief and what a mess she is, surrounded by junk food, chocolate and tequila.

So begins their journey together. Grayson stands by her side, helping her carry out a promise she made to herself to meet Bert’s estranged brother, for his sake and oddly enough, for her own as well. I especially enjoyed the meetings between the three different people and what each walked away with after.

Grayson and Parker’s chemistry was immediate, but I loved how Grayson wanted to know everything about the woman who captured his heart. As pasts are revealed and secrets exposed, their new love is threatened,

Once again Addison Cole takes us on an adventure toward HEA. These two characters are up there with my other favorites. This book is a sweet love story woven with loss, new beginnings and of course genuine love.

The hardest goodbyes, bring the sweetest hellos.

Lovers at Seaside is an amazing tale of life, love and loss. It's also a life lesson: "Make every moment and person in your life count." Addison Cole wraps readers up in a tale of new beginnings and heartbreaking loss. There are moments where the emotion seems larger then the characters, but that's to be expected when looking at greatness. The hardest goodbyes, often bring the sweetest hellos.

Definitely recommend!

Lovers at Seaside is the ninth book in the Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers series. Grayson and Parker kept up communication even though they were miles apart. Suddenly Parker is no longer responding. He finds her wallowing in grief, with a plan to carry out. He decides he is not going to leave her side, and what ensues is a tale of heartache, love, devotion, and secrets revealed. This is one of those books that sucks you right in, and I enjoyed listening to this narrator. I definitely recommend it.

SWOON

AUDIO VERSION

I loved this sweet with heat story about Parker and Grayson, narrated superbly by Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow. I found myself laughing or smiling while listening to this book. And yes, I shed a few tears as well. Parker is hiding out at Seaside as she grieves the death of her mentor. Letters she discovered after his death drove her to Seaside. Grayson has been emailing with Parker as he creates ironwork for her various foundations. He stops at the foundation home only to discover Parker is there. He tries to help her with some issues but he also wonders if any relationship will develop as a result of their emails. And this book truly has an unexpected twist. It truly is a beautiful story.

Love the Seaside Gang

Not only did I love reading the book back in May, I just listened to the audio version of this book. I love the narration of Lucy River & Aiden Snow. I love the male/female narration Listening to audiobooks makes my drive to and from work bearable.

I always love returning to the Seaside gang. Parker is a famous actress and Grayson is an artist who have correspond and fell for each other over months of email. This book had a twist I never expected. I truly do not know how Addison does it. She writes so many book and none of them disappoint. This book is a HEA with no cliffhangers.
