Yes, I would and have recommended, this book and every other book I can get my hands on , by J.R Ward. I read a lot, 2-5 books a week. I never came across a writer, like her. After I found myself unable to put her books down, I started looking into books like hers and also, read books she read. I have found books I love that J.R Ward had read and enjoyed herself.
J.R.Ward has a way about her writing, that from the first line in her books, your hooked.

What other book might you compare Lover Awakened to and why?

Fated (Dark Protectors #1)
by Rebecca Zanetti. I stumbled on to this book, and fell in love. Another author that just grabs you.

lol i cant say, i love so much of the book.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

lol one of my favorite things is when a author pulls you in with their writing, and find yourself laughing and crying.

J.R. Ward keep writing, cant wait to get my hands on another one of your books. I hope my first book is half as good as yours. You have inspired me.

Very disturbing story, but it was still worth it

I have already listened to it again. This series is better when you read and listen to it at the same time.

What did you like best about this story?

That Zsadist was able to get beyond his past and learned to love and care for others.

What about Jim Frangione’s performance did you like?

Frangione's fits the storyline and brings out the characters emotions and personality very well.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, it made me very upset that Zsadist was so abused. I never understand how anyone get their jollies out of hurting someone that badly and actually believe themselves to be so important. Pathetic.

A very emotional and disturbing book. I love that J.R.Ward is so thorough with her stories. You will never feel shorted by her books.

J.R. knows how to tell a story.

Luved Zsadist and Bella. She taught him how to love. He taught her that she is special. Lots of Lesser action and adventure. Didn't like the tragedy....made me want to cry.
Reading the book was great but this narrator did a good job with the story. I would have liked a little acting out of the characters though...
but he was good.

Loven the Black Dagger Brotherhood series!!!!!!

I was hooked from book one! I just knew J.R. Ward would 'nt disappoint! I had read the first 10 books some years ago & between life getting so busy & My migraines getting worse , well I had to let go of my passion; Reading books such as this that weren't too far from reality, but just enough to get lost, even if just for a little while. Then My Mom bought My sister &I readers & I found Audible!!! Its a wonderful app that is worth EVERY PENNY!!!
I had tried others, they just weren't worth the cost or the narrator were just not the right fit for Me! And now with the Romance Package added to Audible, well I can catch up on all the series I had started b4 without paying 100's of dollars. the love and pain

this is one of my favorite books. you can really feel the emotions of the brothers and their families.

This is the best book of the series, and it is great that it is finally available on audio.

Moving

I've read this book (the series) and I was skeptical with the narrator voice initialy, but just past the beginning Frangione's voice becomes very easy to listen to. Lover Awakened is a moving story of past, present and future love that will warm any heart.

This will always be my favorite book of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Getting to follow Zsadist's journey to happiness is everything. Jim did a great job narrating this one.
