Publisher's summary

Drawn decades into the future, the beloved characters from Pride and Prejudice are re-imagined in this new variation. Elizabeth Bennet has now become the quick-witted nurse living in Augusta, Georgia, during the Civil War. Life is simple for the Bennet family until the arrival of the mysterious Mr. Darcy turns their lives upside down. But secrets, scandals, and lies are waiting for Elizabeth everywhere she turns. In a world filled with conflict and uncertainty, Elizabeth must ask herself the most startling question of all: who can be trusted?

This book is awful

Jane Austin would turn in her grave at this racist garbage. Who ever this author is degraded the her wonderfully written book.
