excellent book! it was totally in line with Kraven. which was also a very good book. I'm eager to find the next one. while the first book was okay the following two were outstanding!

This is a very sweet story of the young boy, Lorn, falling in love for this very sweet beautiful young girl, Kira. He protects this girl from harm in his village as she is mostly human and cannot shift. The others ignore her, tell her she cannot join celebrations, or when she was a child be beaten by the other children who could shift. Unfortunately the person, who took care of the children, could not stand humans and would repeatedly verbally abuse her or not protect her. Lorn was the only one that played or protect her until he realized she was becoming a woman. He realized then he had to distance himself and also Kira’s life was in danger. The story continues throughout of how their love developed with the many obstacles in their way. It was an exciting action read and I finished it in 2 days. I highly recommend it.

I loved this book! It's classic Laurann Dohner--hot, hot, hot, with just enough humor, and depth to keep you interested. Get this book today, it's the best so far in the VLG series. Lorn is super fierce and I couldn't get enough of him. Bravo Laurann!

the characters are intriguing. I just loved the story. I couldn't put this book down.

amazing female lead!

I guess when you're writing a book and a series there's got to be one male lead who is just a complete idiot , baby and that's how I felt about Loren. thank God the female lead was so amazing she took her little baby and she turned him into a man... maybe that was the point of the story - definitely worth a credit.

Another hit!

I have loved everything that I’ve heard by this author. Her New Species series is where I started and I’ve been hooked ever since!

My favourite book of the series

Lorn is a surprisingly an in depth read, frustrating and satisfying at the same time. Definitely looking forward to more from this series.
