Loved, but the least fav of the series

loved the whole series!! it was hard at the beginning her being young but an awesome love story!!

It’s my go to book

I adore Lake and Manning, it’s been years now, that I’ve had them in my library, this is an audible that I can listen to, over and over again. It’s amazingly written, and Andi Arndt ( and occasionally Zachary Webber ) bring this story to life! One of my top 10 faves for sure!

Loved the series.

Beautifully written by Jessica Hawkins. Character depth and plot was fantastic. I have only written a few reviews. But for this series I had to. Narrators are beyond words and together they make the story come alive. I felt as if I was watching a movie while I was driving to work.

Great Finally!

Jessica Hawkins did it again. I am so happy that she decided to write this additional book in Lake & Manning's story. The Something in the Way series is one of my favorite series to date. It made me laugh, cry, and long for a love like theirs.

Favorite Series Ever

Thank you to Jessica Hawkins for giving us the untraditional, beautiful, captivating love story of Lake and Manning. I hung on to every word of each book in the series, and absolutely couldn’t wait until this final book came out...I hate to give spoilers in reviews, so I will just say that this last book did not disappoint; I loved it! Jessica Hawkins has become one of my favorite authors, and I really look forward to any future books/series she writes! As always, Andi Arndt’s narration was fantastic. She’s at the top of her game, and is (hands down) my favorite narrator. Awesome book/series + awesome narration= A++

This series was one of the best I've listened too!

I loved the emotional roller coaster I went on with this series!! It has it all! Love, heartbreak , forgiveness and steamy sex!!! Loved it!!!!

Perfect Ending to a wonderful Series

I have listened to this four book series a total of 3 times. It is the most romantic series, and my absolute favorite! I really didn’t want it to end!! It’s so wonderful except for the constant use of the F word. Some of the sex scenes are also extremely graphic. I am someone who loves romantic books, but to me constantly using the F word is not as romantic as making love. Other than that, I loved the characters of Lake and Manning, and the narration by Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber is exceptionally great.

The Ending is Bitter Sweet

A few months ago, I down loaded the start of Lake and Manning's story and I was so engrossed with their story. I literally listened to the first three books in a day and half. At the end of the third book, I felt a bit short changed.

Fortunately, Jessica Hawkins and her fans encouraged Jessica to write the fourth follow up book. And boy, it did not disappoint. Once again, I listened to "Lake + Manning" in one day. Their story picks up at after Lake moves in with Manning at his Big Bear home while she is finishing Vet school. Unfortunately, their next step is marriage and babies, but in Lake and Manning style, nothing is ever easy for them. Plus, both Lake and Manning need to address their issues with Lake's parents and Lake's sister/Manning's ex-wife in order to move on with their lives. So will Lake and Manning get their ultimate HEA? I guess you will find out.

This book will fill in all the gaps and make you swoon. Plus, we get one of the best narrators in the industry to bring their story to it's conclusion. 5 plus stars across the board. Thank you Jessica for giving your fans the ultimate ending to Lake and Manning.
