Publisher's summary

Vampire bounty hunter Morgan Bailey needs a break. A girl can handle only so much drama - and her latest assignments have definitely brought the drama. So when her boss mentions an assignment in London, Morgan jumps at the chance to get back to her roots and do what she does best: a good old-fashioned vamp hunt. She should have known better.

Once she crosses the pond, she encounters something she never expected to see: dragons. It seems they might not be so extinct after all. In Shéa MacLeod’s electrifying follow-up to Kissed by Darkness, it turns out Morgan’s one chance of preventing certain carnage if the dragons are unleashed is to confront the truth about her own past, and about the darkness growing inside of her.

Good

It was a passably good followup to book 1
Jack was an A%#% but Morgan was just so lust crazed she fell into bed with him only to be dumped again 🙄🙄
Then there’s Indigo who she never gave a chance until after the fiasco with Jack and now she’s “in love”. Gotta love that fickle old heart. If I were him I’d run.m, but whatever.
The book itself is fine, tts fast paced, Morgan finally catches up to the vampire Who killed her and learns he was hired. She also has a half sibling who’s been watching over her .. say whatttt????? The darkness inside her wants to come out and play and ehh but it protects her so let’s see how that plays out. And the dragons are here v

Sunwalker Saga

this book was well thought out with lots of action, magic and romance.
"Morgan kept her fire burning all night long, a new ability it seems."

cheesy but good

Everything was well done and follows the "Kissed by" stories. I liked it and will continue to listen to the others. I also found it cheesy and not appropriate for a younger audience.

Almost great?

Narrator matches my mental image and is very good. My only problem is that despite a really solid story, and an okay undertone of a romance throughout they decided to throw in a 2 minute erotica which while fine in and of itself, it just felt forced for the shock factor and not really called for based on the rest of the story.

Next Step

Kissed by Fire starts off where Kissed by Darkness ended. I suggest readers listen to book 1 first. I like the characters: each with his or her own idiosyncrasies and personality. I like that the story is not predictable. Morgan continues to develop new talents. We learn more about both Morgan's and Kabita's interesting families.

Good read, not great but good

this one did not make me want to stay up all night like some others, but it was a good story. A little predictable, but I still liked the story so much and wanted to see what would happen next to the main character that I got the next book in the series. So I would say I was not board and it was a credit well spent.

Brilliant Narration. Unimpressive Heroine

Morgan is obsessed with getting revenge on the vampire who killed her. After taking a truckload of weapons with her to England she sets out to hunt the vampire that killed her armed with only 1 knife. When she finally tracks him to his hiding place she finds a locked door in the catacombs blocking her from him. In a fit of anger she spontaneously sets the door on fire. Then instead of getting him she leaves.

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!

The only thing I'm disappointed in is that they aren't in audio form from 4 on. I have to work 12 hours a day so the only reading I get is audiobooks. But after this next book I'll make time before bed for a special treat. Awesome creative series!!
