Publisher's summary

In their new Keeper roles, these extraordinary women must balance the fate of the world with their desires.…

New Keeper Rhiannon Gryffald has her peacekeeping duties cut out for her - because in Hollywood it's hard to tell the actors from the werewolves, bloodsuckers, and shape-shifters. Then Rhiannon hears about a string of murders that bear all the hallmarks of a vampire serial killer, and she must confront her greatest challenge yet. Together with Elven detective Brodie McKay, she heads to Laurel Canyon, the epicenter of the danger, where they uncover a plot that may forever alter the face of human-paranormal relations….

Don't miss the thrilling romance that started it all. The Keepers is included in this audiobook!

Really Enjoyable

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed both these books.

Although they are two entirely different books they both feature Keepers which are not something I had come across in any other book. In the first book there are three keepers, they are the daughters of two of the most powerful keepers ever. Keepers are human but a little bit more. Each keeper looks after one race ie vampires, shifters, elvin and so on. The keeper can assume the powers of the race they police and look after. Not something you come across often but this book really works. The first book is set in Hollywood and is about catching a serial killer.

In the second book there is one main keeper, albeit a new keeper, and this book is set in New Orleans and also revolves around catching a serial killer who may or may not be a vampire.

I found myself immersed in both stories although I did enjoy the first book slightly more but that might be because I had not come across an Elvin before and I would love to have met this particular Elvin!

Jeepers Keepers

I normally like Heather Grahams books, but this one with two stories of"Keepers".One in Louisiana and the other in L.A.,were too similar, mildly entertaining. The narrator couldn't seem to decide on making male voices or female voices for certain characters making it a bit confusing to know who was talking.I'll pass this one off as"been there, done that"BUT wouldn't care to listen to again.

Scooby doo ending...

Would you ever listen to anything by Heather Graham again?

I don't know...

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Nothing really jumps out at me.

Any additional comments?

The world had the potential to be an interesting take on the paranormal..but I don't feel especially emotionally connected to any of the characters. The ending was just flat for me...
