Another enjoyable book

This is the second in the seaside pictures but continues to have characters from seaside. I enjoyed Zane and Fallon. Zane is a rockstar but has social anxiety and is trying to finish his album . Fallon is a local girl that is sweet but not the typical type a rock star goes for. I enjoyed their story in addition to getting a bit more of a glimpse of the previous characters.

The Best! I laughed, I Cried, I Sighed

Zane is one of those men you can’t help falling in love with. His dialogues are hysterical and his heart so fragile. I think I’m going into Zane withdrawal.
Peter Coleman did an excellent portrayal for the men and Brittany was great for Fallon but both were only good enough for their opposite sex voices.
This is book two but a definite standalone with no cliffhanger.
When a book makes me laugh out loud and get real tears, it’s a winner.

a humorous but emotionally written rockstar romance

Ohh Zane and Fallon. My heart! I fell completely for these two. Keep is one of RVD’s best! A humorous but emotionally written rockstar romance. Zane is living life with 2 different personas. Saint the Rockstar and Zane, a man with a painful past suffering from anxiety. My heart bled for Zane. He has been through so much but was still able to find the humor in life and was constantly making others around him laugh. Oh and can we talk about his crazy obsession with marshmallows! Loved him! The moment Zane meets Fallon he is instantly enamoured by her and her quirkiness and glasses to big for her face. He loves that she isn’t star struck by him and she sees him for only him. The two together are the perfect fit and deserve each other and they happiness they find in one another. If you are looking for a book that will make you laugh and cry and everything in between this book is for you. 5 STARS

Marshmallows anyone???

I thought that this was a sometimes sad book, but overall it was cute and fun. I loved Zane and Fallon's characters. I thought that Zane was so different than he should have been but it worked. Fallon was the opposite of what Zane should want. I loved how their story unfolded. I loved the supporting characters. Great read. I loved the different emotions I felt throughout the book.

Rachel Van Dyken has a talent in drawing you in & immersing you into the world she has created. This book as all the feels, love & pain mostly. I loved watching their relationship bloom & I loved how they both helped each other in the long run overcome their demons.

This was such a good book! Good humor, good growing unlikely romance. A very good story with some seriousness as well as the humor. Very well written and good dialogue between all characters. Good character development . Worth a credit!

story dragged on too long. but the voices were great. they made me listen to the whole story.

Great story with wonderful narration

This is book two in the Seaside Pictures series, but can be read as a standalone. Although I recommend reading the first book and any book by Rachel Van Dyken as her books keep you involved from the prologue to the last sentence. Many of the characters here you will find in her other books which will help you understand the dynamics of these characters and help you avoid any possible spoilers. One warning: once you are finished with this book, you will never look at a marshmellow the same way again. As with many of Rachel Van Dyken’s books she touches on real life issues and this book doesn’t disappoint.
A Rachel story is one that is packed full of a wide range of emotions from humor to sadness any every other on the spectrum.
I listened to the audio of this book and the narrators Brittney Pressley and Peter Coleman did a wonderful job bringing Zane and Fallon to life along with all the other characters. These talented narrators hit every point on the emotion spectrum.
They made it easy to know by the voice changes when a different character is speaking and you will be laughing along or screaming at the characters. This is a must listen to excellent story and series. I will be looking for books narrated by these talented readers and any book by this wonderful author.

This is a good one!

Zane is by far was of the best written lead male character I have read about! I mean come on, who couldn't love this guy!
