Publisher's Summary

Ian Blackwell fronts the next up and comer for Will It Records. He's young, charming, and doesn't live by anyone's rules but his own. He's watched several friends find happiness within the arms of their perfect woman and secretly, it's something he has wanted for himself. Life's always been this side of lonely for the rocker and while his friends make up his rag tag universe and family, love has always eluded him.

Ravens Santiago loves life exactly the way it is. She gets to wear yoga pants all day, be immersed in her first love of technology and harmlessly flirts with her clients for Will It. Love is a concept she would rather not think about, as love has brought her nothing but pain, and a life lived without knowing who she really was.

And a chance meeting on New Year's will turn both words upside down. A one-night stand that leaves one of them running, and the other frustrated is not the way to start the New Year.

Unable to give up on something he knows is real; Ian takes steps to bring Ravens along with them on their tour. Snagging the woman that has ignored you for months shouldn't even be a thing, but Ian knows scared when he sees it, and he's intent on showing her why they really are a good idea.

But things are in the works for Ravens, things she doesn't even know about. Ian isn't the only one that sees her in his future, and good or bad, Ian and Manifold are the only ones that will be able to keep her safe.

Perfect voice for this genre

When I started listen to this audiobook I`ll be honest and say that I was trying to figure out why I knew this voice, LOL. I was driving and I really could check my library, but I really liked his voice, it was just a perfect fit for this book. Anyway, I did figure it out, I do in fact have another audiobook with this narrator and believe it or not written by this author. Very entertaining, I enjoyed it very much.

Great Read

Just What You Need by S.A. Price was a good read. This was definitely a story about love at first sight. From the first moment that Ian met Raven he knew exactly what he wanted from her. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by S.A. Price.

Really great read!

Super fun, sweet, sexy read! I wasn't sure what I was getting into at first, because I've never read anything by this author, but I am so glad I took a chance! The characters were well written, fleshed out, and actually made sense. There were no head-slapping, "are you serious?!" moments. I fell in love with the characters - I liked that the hero wasn't a jerk, and the heroine was able to stand on her own. It took me a bit to get used to the narrator, but I ended up enjoying his performance. I will absolutely read more in this series, and more by the authors!

Loved this book

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This book has it all... It has hot guys, musicians, paranormal happenings, love and hot sex.. What more could you ask for? I fell in love with Ian immediately and was cheering for him to have his "happily ever after". There were times that I wanted to shake some sense into Ravens at least the first part of the book. Really.. Hot rock star - well that's a no brainer... I love the fact that once they were committed to each other, they were in it for long term. There was no cheating

Have you listened to any of Joshua Macrae’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first time listening to anything by Joshua Macrae and I have to say that in the beginning I was having a hard time with him. But by the end, he was great. I will listen to other books narrated by him.

Any additional comments?

This is the first book by S.A. Price that I have read and I can tell you it won't be the last.

A Man that knows what he wants

What made the experience of listening to Just What You Need the most enjoyable?

I really enjoyed the overall story line and the development of the main characters, along with the side characters. At first it was hard to distinguish what was going on because the narrator was sounding the same for everyone, but after about 10 minutes, I adapted and the rest of the audio was fantastic. The narrator has this voice that just makes you want to drop what you are doing and listen as it rolls along your skin.

What did you like best about this story?

I don't usually listen to or read stories about rock groups, but I gave this one a try and I am glad of it. I love all the different characters and how the interact with everyone. Each has his/her own personality and that really shines through. I am excited to listen to and see the development of several of the other characters. I am all about dialogue. Plus the fact the Ian sees instantly who he wants and from the beginning never questions or stops pursuing her. (in a non-stalker way). I want to go on tour with all of them.

Any additional comments?

There were some back stories mentioned; therefore, I am going to see if there are other stories about these written. Plus, while I understand and followed the paranormal/supernatural element of the story, it at times felt a little off. I am not sure if it is because we don't see much interaction or how it is hidden from the public I guess. Although... I loved the rabbit/bunny. That was just funny.

Men of Manifold Book One

Men of Manifold Book One.

Ian Blackwell is struck dumb when he sees the beautiful Ravens Santiago on stage. He immediately tracks her down, only to find out that she is his band's coder. After a smashing night together, Ray knows that she will fall for the Brit's charm if she allows herself to spend any amount of time with him. She distances herself, but Ian is determined to end up with her. He instructs X to extend an offer Ravens cannot refuse. However, Ian is not the only one intent on having Ray.

If you're looking for a new band to crush on, Manifold is your dream come true.

LOVE this new series!

Just What You Need is the start to a brand new series from the Price sisters, and it doesn’t disappoint. We still see all of our old friends from Shades and the Eververse, but you don’t have to read those books to enjoy Ian. He is sweet, super sweet, but the story isn’t lacking in the snark we love so much from these authors, or the action - in the bedroom or out - and the narrator does a fantastic job of bringing our boys to life. I’ve found a new favorite in Ian!

Fun and entertaining!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would for sure recommend this audiobook to a friend, especially ones that are fans of rock stars or paranormal.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I think Ravens was my favorite main character, although Ian was pretty cool too. I liked that she was independent, knew what she wanted, and didn't take a lot of crap from anyone.
The supporting characters, the rest of the guys in the band, were all so entertaining.

Did Joshua Macrae do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

He did a good job. At first I was a little leery of the narration, especially with the females, but as the book progressed I really found myself enjoying his take on each character. I thought the different accents for the band members were very well done.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I can't recall being particularly "moved" by any scene, but I did really enjoy Ian and Ravens first date, as they got to know each other.

Any additional comments?

This was my first book by S.A. Price. I was entertained by this story and found myself laughing out loud at the antics of some of the characters. I'll definitely be looking into more books by Ms. Price.
