Loved the story

Just loved the story even the background characters were good . I think I'm falling in love with the narrators voices. They just draw you into the story.

This one has become one of my favorites!

Initially, the voices were a little hard to like. It reminded me of a news anchor, but it was an incredible performance once my ears adjusted. I would have liked to have heard a small Southern accent in the female voice, as the characters were from GA. I honestly thought she did SUPERBLY as she played Ashley. I loved it.

Second chances!

Sawyer Bennett's books are always so entertaining and this audiobook was no exception. The premise of this story is a woman who went to Hollywood to become a star, became one and then was humiliated by her fiancé on the red carpet when she finds out what a cheat he was. Pride wounded and paparazzi hounding her, she goes back to her small hometown. She doesn't get a warm welcome from most of the locals, but runs into her old love- the one she left behind to follow her dreams. And he seems to be the only one who really sees her heart. Superb narration by two of the best!

LOVE HURTS.. BUT 2ND CHANCES CAN BE BREATHTAKING

Award winning actress Eden Goodnight didn't expect to be returning to her hometown of Newberry Georgia after fourteen years away but she didn't expect to hear and see, (while on the red carpet), the shocking news from the paparazzi that her equally famous actor fiancé (whose arm she was currently on) had been unfaithful. The incriminating pictures, the bitter outbursts and the detrimental words about his penis had an unforeseen and uncomfortable backlash on Eden so now she's going to lie low in the last place anyone will look for her in the hope of some peace. However she doesn't get the welcome home she expected and she never thought she'd be sharing her childhood home with the boy she left behind all those years ago. A boy who had matured into a very handsome man.. however that man is being stubborn, annoying, frustrating.. sexy, fit and very alpha.. and his presence is stirring up problems for Eden.

The last person Landscape business owner Cooper Mayfield expected to see at his home after fourteen years away was his High School sweetheart who he once loved deeply and they were their first everything when they were both eighteen. She was the girl who chose a modelling career over him.. the girl who transformed into an award winning A list celebrity.. the girl who'd hardened his heart to love. There's been a lot of changes since then - they're both thirty two now, in very different places in their lives and they're very different people now too.. yes Coop can easily see Eden's even more beautiful.. but now she's stubborn, annoying and frustrating too. But, the more Coop gets to know the new Eden, the more he uncovers.. and the deeper he delves the more he likes what he finds.

Eden very quickly finds out how it feels to have your home town reject you, to have Coop's f. buddy badmouth and bitchslap you, to feel alone amongst familiar faces, to feel jealous when you have no right.. and getting angry isn't an option? Peace, forgiveness and redemption will eventually be hers as the hostile reunion with Coop does muddy the water for a while.. however, it will rekindle old familiar feelings.. feelings of friendship.. feelings of tenderness.. feelings of lust.. and slowly feelings of love. But there's obstacles standing in their way.. so will their love be enough.. or will the lure of Hollywood prove too big to ignore?

This sweet second–chance dual POV touching romance had humor, heart and heat (hot hot hot) as well as sizzling attraction, great chemistry, good secondary characters, a sweet sassy strong heroine who is very resilient and a commitment-shy alpha hero. Yes, Eden chose a career over love, the spotlight over friendships and a modelling career over a college education.. yet eighteen years on they're even better together - they're loyal, loving and supportive of each other's needs too.. and together they finally realize their soul needs the other one's soul to be whole.. to belong.. to breathe.. and to be happy. Joe and Maxine's wonderful narration brought it all to life, gave it a heartbeat and made it zing.

Worth a credit? This is a very nice light enchanting contemporary romance with steam written by a well loved author and narrated by a well loved team.. so creditworthy? Hell yeah.

I didn't enjoy this as much as any of Sawyer's other books. but it 1st audible book

Loved It

Sawyer Bennett is an amazing writer. The characters are always interesting. The romance sizzling. Both narrators have done an excellent job of bringing the story to life.
