Publisher's summary

It's a summer of change for Jennifer O'Malley. The busy physician has a pediatrics practice in Dallas, and meeting Tom Peterson, and falling in love, is adding a rich layer to her life. She's sorting out how to introduce him to her family - she's the youngest of seven - and thinking about marriage. She's falling in love with Jesus too, and knows God is good. But that faith is about to be tested in a way she didn't expect, and the results will soon transform her entire family.

Awesome, but only read after you've read thothers

Where does Jennifer rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Unfair question. I've listened to over 100. However, after listening to this I am about to listen to the entire series again for the 3rd time in a row.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Jennifer?

The end because it circles back and makes you want to see her again throughout the other books.

What about Tom Stechschulte’s performance did you like?

He is a good reader. He is amazingly consistent with the characters' voices and personalities throughout the entire series.

Any additional comments?

This was not meant to be a full book, just a tribute to Tom and Jennifer so we can know their story too. Read the O'Malley series in order, then Full Disclosure, then Jennifer. It's the best way to do it. The order matters because they are written in chronological order.

Great short story

I have listened to the O'Malley stories numerous times and purchased the set of paperbacks for my mother. This is a great short story in the continuation of that series. Anyone who has read these books will know this story is a prequel to the series BUT I can't emphasize enough that Ms Henderson put it right where it belonged. It really NEEDS to be read after you read the series. I truly hope she comes out with a "ten years later" or something type story about this family, I would eagerly snap it up.

Good story. Listen for yourself and see.

Good story. Listen for yourself and see. I like the spiritual content the best; you will too if that's important to you.

Very disappointing end to series!

Would you try another book from Dee Henderson and/or Tom Stechschulte?

I would try another book because the Henderson's other books have been good to outstanding.

Has Jennifer turned you off from other books in this genre?

This book would have turned me off, had I not read the other ones in the series. Seemed like a very half-hearted effort, not worthy of Henderson.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Jennifer?

What was present was fine, there just wasn't much of a story - no mystery or suspense, no real drama.

Any additional comments?

If you haven't read the O'Malley series, it's a great read, and the audio is well-narrated.

Have you listened to any of Tom Stechschulte’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

just as great as the others in OMalley series. Really like the narrator.

A sweet modern love story with with religion mixed in it. Very tastefully written! Loved it!

Great faith romance

I enjoyed it until the end. I guess I’m just a happy ever after. I didn’t like leaving the end open.

Was so invested

I had already finished the O’Malley series-which I loved- when I read Jennifer. I was so excited and invested in this character and her story. Then all of a sudden the narrator says the end. I get that it ends where the story begins in the series…but I wanted her to fill in more gaps since Jennifer is just sprinkled in the series.

Great

I liked the back story about Jennifer. The entire series is well worth the time. The narrator is smooth and keeps your focus.

A must hear prior to listening to any of the rest of the O'Malley series !

This prequel is important to understanding all the series. It is a common thread to understanding the redemption theme in all the family's stories
