Publisher's summary

He's no saint.

Dover "Collector" Ragnes rides with only five brothers at his back. Nomads with no place to call home, they never stay in one place too long. Together, they are the Devil's Due MC, and their only purpose is to serve justice their way for unsolved crimes everywhere they go.

She's not afraid to call herself a sinner.

Emerson Flint still remembers the loss of her elementary school best friend. She is all grown up, but the memories still haunt her of the missing girl. Surrounding herself with men at the tattoo shop, she never questions her safety. Her life is her art. Her canvas is the skin of others.

Will Dover overcome the history he shares with Emerson in time? Will Emerson lead him to the retribution he has always sought?

Good, but not Great

First, narration was great, no complaints! The story was a little choppy and rushed at times, and the resolution seemed a little too... convenient, maybe? Hard to explain, but it just seemed like a lot of coincidences and manufactured drama (esp between the h and her mentor... totally unnecessary).

Overall, it was good, but I'm not sure I want to pay for the next installment... the first was in the Romance package, but the rest of the series isn't, which is a shame.

Short Fast Read

Alpha MMC and a strong FMC with childhood history. There was mystery, drama, no cheating, a HFN ending and no epilogue. Needed more depth to story.Narrators were great.

It was just OK

The storyline was ok. Nothing explosive happened that kept me on the edge of my seat. It was rather bland aside from the vulgarity spewed from the mouth's of bikers. Vulgarity rarely bothers me but the way it was done in this book kind of annoyed me.

Mind you, the narrators did a great job with the material that were dealt. Hopefully, the next book has a little more excitement in it. Thankfully it is part of the romance package and I don't have to use a credit. Otherwise I wouldn't even bother lostening to it.

🌻Could have been so much more!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

This was a touching short story about a group of men that ride and work together, in hopes of making amends for their past sins. They investigate unsolved crimes and punish the offender with their vigilante justice.
The crime they solve involve the rape, torture and murder of a nine year old girl.
The author tells an outline, of what could have been, a really powerful story. It’s an ok Escape Package listen but definitely not worth a credit.

Not bad of a start

This story wasnt bad at all. Lots of triggers for sexual abuse of children. The crudeness if the bikers is different from what I'm used to, but I'm thinking it is a better representation of the lifestyle. Not all bikers are romantic, respectful and sweet talking dudes. Some call women they fuck easily bitches, talk about their cocks and are explicit with each other. I will give the 2nd book a chance to determine how much I like this series. But overall a good story, good pacing and great fucking

Engaging story

Red by Chelsea Cameron has an engaging plot, telling the story of a brother, Dover, seeking vengeance for his sister’s murder to assuage his guilt. Emerson was his sister’s best friend and meets Dover years later in a small town in Alabama while he is close on the tail of the killer.
Aiden Snow does a great job as Dovers character. Kendall Ryan doesn’t seem to hit the mark as Emerson with me, too country.

Good with few comments

I finished the series and wanted to add to this review.....

Let me say first that I loved this series but just felt that it could have been really great....it really could've but, for whatever reason, the author wanted to lean heavily on lay on the sugar coat which, in SMALL doses, adds to MC stories. In this case, it takes away. Too much of a good thing. While this isn't your typical motorcycle club, the guys are still not the type to say things like, "I believe in you/our love" and "This is us", etc. Just ... no. The story lines are good and could have been developed further, which also would've added to rather than leave the reader feeling shortchanged. Still managed to get the "feels" in and address several important issues in today's world.

The idea of "the devil gets his due" is the recurring theme but could have been emphasized more and developed more. I loved the underlying "Trapper" story (which was a twist in and of itself--loved that!). If this series could be rewritten and developed more, lengthen each one, you'd have a great series, Ms. Camaron, you definitely have the talent!!!

I know that Kendall Taylor and Aiden Snow have narrated many books together ... including MC books but it took me several chapters to get used to her. Aiden Snow is the best in these biker books and that makes up for the weaker female narration in this series. Just be aware that Taylor takes some getting used to.

Just too short

All of the books are good stories with fantastic performances. My only issue with all of them is that they are too short. The author does a good job in fleshing out the characters in such a short time but the felt rushed. All in all though they are well worth the listen.
