This comedic tale of two misfits takes a dramatic turn when they are forced to make life altering choices. Their only hope for a future is to discover the courage that comes from loving someone deeply.
I loved this book. Not only does it tackle human trafficking but also autism. This story will stick with tou long past listening or reading it.
What did you love best about Hooked?
I loved that it's a fun romance, but had a lot of levels of seriousness to it too. I think it's great for an author to shed light on autism by having the main character be autistic...I read a lot, and this is something I haven't seen before!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely. It's a very exciting and well put together read. Really glad I found this.
Have you listened to any of Allen Wolf’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No. This was actually my first time listening to anything by Allen Wolf and I have to say I'm very impressed.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. It's a very vivid and well paced story so it made it easy to get lost in this.
Would you try another book from Allen Wolf and/or Allen Wolf?
If he did not narrate it.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Hooked?
Oh when they got married!
What didn’t you like about Allen Wolf’s performance?
It was too fast, too rushed, it sounded like he was in a hurry and not enjoyable at all. It was also monotone and flat as can be!
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Loved the story...ditch the narrator!
