Great steamy story.. Wrong choice Narrator.

Like others, I was excited to get to Slay’s story. While listening to the previous three books (which I loved the stories of) he was the one I really loved getting glimpses of and couldn’t wait for.
Him being a Daddy dom was unexpected to me and yet so right. I love how he is with Alice and Charlie.
But the narrator...
I could see how he’d be good for other books maybe, but not a dom book. And regardless of the book, there is a background noise he makes (chewing gum? Candy? Constant spit swallowing?) that would get on my nerves to the point I’d have to pause the scene and take a break from listening.
Also the inflection was off in many areas that could completely change the way you saw the scene.
I basically got to the point that I just used it more as a prompt and was reimagining it in my head to the way I thought it should have been.
It really sucks to be looking forward to a story so much and then have it ruined because of bad narration.
Overall, the story saved itself simply because it was great and I loved it- in spite of the narrator’s possible attempts at sabotage.

Great story and loved the narrator

What do you get when you combine a fantastic story with a fabulous narrator? This audible His Babygirl. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story. The narrator does a wonderful job with the different voices. I could listen to him all day.

awful narration

the story had so much potential and really seemed hot to me but the narration was pretty bad. seemed like the guy had trouble breathing alot and maybe didnt understand inflections.

My favorite..Slay

I was waiting for this one. We have met Slay in the previous books of this series, and there is something about this man that just does it for me. Alice, the single mom of Charlie also has a thing for him! These two do a dance around each other until one night when Slay decides that it's time and she needs her spanking. This former marine can give out his discipline, to the point that you can almost feel the pain Alice endures! And then his soft side comes out and you just melt. Daddy will take care of her. I have to say, my favorite parts of this book, are the scenes Slay and Charlie have together. This bulk of a man has a way of connecting with this young boy and giving him the confidence, advice and love he needs. There is nothing he does that is halfway, he is all in no matter what it is he is doing.

The storyline of this Boston Doms segment gives a look at Nora too, along with Diego...I can't wait for that book to come out, as I can only imagine where they will take us!

Ken Solin does an amazing job narrating this book. I love his dominant voice, and how he can command the scene for Slay's character and still give you the soft Alice. His performance was perfect for this book.

I have this on Kindle, so I couldn't resist the offer of listening. it's amazing. great story. fantastic narrator. super sexy!

Wonderful sexy Daddy Dom story

The authors have done another wonderful job with the Boston Dom crew.
Alice and Slay made. wonderful couple. I loved watching their relationship grow and seeing them along with Alice's son become a family.
The discipline and sex scenes were written so well it felt as tho you were there.

Understanding another aspect of human need

Another excellent study of two very distinct, and somewhat rare, personality types... both finding fulfillment through a hand-crafted, unusual relationship. Listening to thoughtful, well researched studies of personalities finding each other through kink is so helpful in enabling us to "get to ok" with other folks' kinks and needs. I'm so grateful that good authors, psychologically perceptive, well-intentioned authors, write in depth about people truly finding their paths and relationships strengthened by honest kink. While this book will be a tough read for women who prize their independence, it is also a powerful way for those same women to comprehend their sister women who crave submission, and the men who are locked into dominance. While everything can be misused, it is good to read about how it works well, when two people who are right for the game, agree to play it in a way they both can win.
