Publisher's summary

Ryan Justice may be her boss, but nothing will stop him from making her his. New York Times and number-one ebook best-selling author Alexa Riley entices with a brand-new full-length novel.

She thinks I'm perfect. A good boss, a good man. She thinks that I play by the rules.

She has no idea who I truly am. Why I'm really here.

Paige Turner is trying to outrun her past, but there it is, tossed back in her face anytime she manages to get two steps ahead.

She has no idea what a man like me will do to get what he wants.

Her need for Ryan got in the way of revenge, took her off course. Redirected her focus. Before she knew it, he'd made his way into her life. Into her heart.

I'm dirtier than she knows. She thinks I'm good to the core, but she doesn't know the things I've done. The things I would do for her.

True love doesn't let secrets as big as these stay buried. And when the truth about Paige's father is finally exposed, Ryan will do anything to fix everything. Paige has always been his - and his alone.

okay. I liked it.

not bad. the narrators were a little cringe but the story was good. I felt though like I missed something by not reading the previous book but other than that it was good.

Good book 2!

I enjoyed this audiobook and was glad that Paige and Captain got their own story. The story continued in the same world as book one with carryover from the first book. The characters were very entertaining and sexy scenes abound. I liked the ending very much too. Narration was well performed.

Not a fan of the gay stuff always thrown in

This was good. Don’t know why gay stuff has to be thrown in. I could’ve done without that.

excellent book!!!

I am so glad that I bought the second book. There were mixed reviews whether it was good or not but if you liked the first one then you will absolutely love the second one. Captain and Paige's story is heartwarming and he is as much of a possessive caveman as Myles is. Narration was excellent and good to hear more of the male perspective in the second book then you did in the first book which I really liked.

Perfect

Wow. Just as good, maybe ever better than book 1. I was taken by shock when I was listening to Jay Crow describe a scene using a high pitch for Mallory.
Both narrators do a great job giving each person their own voice.
Cant wait for book 3

Amazing!! I love love love this series!

Would you consider the audio edition of His Alone to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version - trying to find time in my busy schedule to read is hectic which is why I love Audible. I have looked up other books by Alexa Riley and would LOVE to see them on audible too. Her series/books fit my taste perfectly. I know I would love them too.

What other book might you compare His Alone to and why?

Other books that remind of this would be: Everything for Her (book one), The McKinney Brother Series, Maybe 50 shades (but only by the love/stalker tendencies), Underground Kings by Aurora Rose Reynolds (love that series too!)

Which scene was your favorite?

There were so many favorites of mine in this book, but if I had to choose just one it would be when Paige tries to attack this woman who snaps a picture of Captain's butt in line after he turned down her advances towards him. It shows the funnier side of the book and its also when Paige decides that he's her publically! OK, just one more for good measure, I also love the part when Captain catches Paige breaking into the computer's at work - the entire scene after that is great!!!! I could really go on and on with this book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I definitely could not put this book down. It was in my ear the entire day ...and night until it ended.

Any additional comments?

The sequel lives up to the first book in every way possible.

Ryan is the head of security at Oz Corp (a billion dollar company) affectionately nicknamed Captain by Paige's BFF Mallory in the first book because of his "All American Good Guy Charm". Only there is a twist - Captain is not 100% who he pretends to be and has been "stalking" Paige for years.

Paige works for Ryan, but is also the CEO's (Oz's) half-sister. She is found by Oz and Ryan to help Oz plot revenge on their father ...who destroyed both Paige and Oz's mothers in very different ways. They both want revenge and Oz got his revenge in book one - Paige is going to get her revenge in this book.

This is a MUST read! If you can - read book one first and then move on to this.

Excellent!

I love an obsessive alpha male! The storyline and writing are excellent and so is the narration.

Idk what else to say - I loved it!
