This was a first for me by this author. It was a short story but very detailed about Dorian and Gloria. The added story about Raven was a bonus. Will definitely check out more from this author.

Good world building - great narration
This was an interesting listen. This book is in the middle of a larger series - short novella - but I was surprised at how much of the world Caine was able to introduce in such a short time. It found the book interesting and leaving me looking up the rest of the series as I want to read more
The narrator was very good. I enjoyed the performance and would listen to other books narrated by Lynn again.
I recommend the narrator and the writer.

Insights into the series
This is how Dorian and Gloria became vampires. How Jacques became their maker. It is short but it also gave me insight into what happened in the basement in book 3. I was confused over Dorian and Lucian’s weird behavior. This helps.
There is another short story attached to this one. I enjoyed Ravens story.
I did listen to this on audio. Lynn Devereux is amazing as always.
