A Favorite Kim Baldwin Book

Great storyline; loved the characters and setting in adventurous Alaska! Enjoyed the connection to the familiar characters from a previous book

Good on kindle, great on audible

I read this originally on kindle, and it was good. Decided to pick it up on audible, and I'm glad I did. The narrator brought it up another notch. Highly enjoyed the reading.

Outstanding Book

Great read full of suspense and romance. The narration was superb. Im going to read everything the Bold Strokes Books offers. Kim
Baldwin is a fantastic author I could not stop listening to this book. Now that this book is complete I can get some sleep.

must listen

Whenever I see a Kim Baldwin book, I never hesitate to buy and listen. Every single one of her books have never disappointed me. This one didn't either. The only issue I have is I never want it to end. A must listen book, you won't regret it. I really enjoyed that all the couples from her other books had a role in this one. Really excited what Kim Baldwin will write next!!!

Thank You For Returning To Alaska

As with 'Breaking the Ice' there is a woman who lives in the small town of Bettles, Alaska. There is also a woman coming up from the lower 48 after a life changing event; this is the type of Kim Baldwin novel that I love. The Elite Operatives series left me cold, I could just never get into it but the three works that feature strong women doing outdoor work with an emphasis on outdoor tours and the guides that run them. I loved all the information about small planes, and the natural beauty and wildlife in Alaska; if I weren't so scared of bears and mosquitoes I'd be saving my money for a tour. There is of course the action scene that involves a case of woman vs nature giving listeners a reminder of the power of the natural world. I'm hoping that a sequel is on the way soon.

Cute story

I really enjoyed the story, I'm a sucker for happily ever after with twists. I would highly recommend this book.

Horrible

OMG this is one of the most boring books I have ever had the misfortune of listening to. What makes it worse is that I accidentally bought this book so it was absolutely not worth the mistake. The narrator was good as she usaully is when I hear her narrate but the story it self was bad. I felt no passion between the characters. This is supposed to be a romance but I felt like the couple spent more time apart then together in the story and there was no time for romance.

Ok, if a bit predictable

Is there anything you would change about this book?

This feels like a book in which the author tries to tie all the characters from previous books together. I don't really need to know what they had for dinner every night, and so on, but generally I like Baldwin's books. They are filled with Alaskan adventures.

It had its moments

Experienced some ups and downs with this one. Alaska rescue and outdoor life, engaging. Townie relationships were warm and fun. I wish I had read it. The coming together of the MCs rushed in the end.
