Narrator is the main reason I quit listening. Now she has ruined me for all the rest of the series, I checked, she’s doing everyone, I will go on to something else for sure.
I’m not crazy about the story, never could get into it, too many details just did not hold my interest, I tried for a few chapters, just couldn’t take it, the story or the narrator.

So much irrelevant detail

I rarely start a book without finishing it, even if I am not enjoying it so much. But this one was so bogged down early on with boring details about the background and relationship nuances and decor style of every resident of house or town or hotel that we met, I had to stop. The main characters haven’t even re-met yet and I am out of patience with all the words. The story doesn’t seem worth it to me.
