Publisher's summary

Payton Vaughn's trip to Puerto Vallarta for her friend's wedding was her big escape from her ridiculously overbearing mother - oh, and that little matter with her cheating fiancé. Now, her flight's been cancelled, and she's crammed into a tiny car with the gorgeous-but-irritating best man. Viva la road trip from hell.

Cruz Sorensen doesn't have time to babysit some spoiled socialite, even if she is the future daughter-in-law of the man who could change the fortune of his family's company. He has no business getting to know her better - not even for all the tequila in Mexico. Until they wake up with hangovers, as man and wife. Now Payton and Cruz must decide if they've reached the end of their journey, or the beginning of a new adventure. Contains mature themes.

A good and easy listen

This was such a cute book. I loved the way she made you like and hate the characters. I had to drive a couple hours for a work meeting and dreaded the drive. I found myself slowing down more and more to increase my drive time. I was literally giggling in my car alone. I was getting frustrated at the mom. I kind of wish I would have read in order. Now I have to go back and listen to Kate's story. Definitely worth listening to.

It was okay

This story was okay. I wouldn’t listen to it again. The dialogue between the main characters was bland. Especially when the h confronted her ex about cheating. I couldn’t feel the connection because of the verbiage used. The performance was good. I think the performance was better than the story. I won’t be listening to the rest of the series since I wasn’t impressed with this one.

Get Real

While there were some amusing moments, the basic plot was childish and unbelievable. Since Payton was a multi millionaire, she could have chartered a private plane or limo, especially if getting to her friend's wedding was so important tp Payton. The rest was a bad spring break tale of drunken escapades, unprotected sex and immature behavior.

Too ridiculous

Having enjoyed book 1, I had high hopes for this one. The next in the series. It starts out interesting buthalfway through goes off the wall to absolutely stupid. Worse, I never felt any chemistry between this couple. it all felt forced. Needless to say, I'm disappointed. I hope book3 is better.

Easy listen

I liked the story. The ending was rushed. There was some unnecessary repetitiveness. The characters were underdeveloped but you did know enough about the 2 main characters to like them

Contains foul language

So did the first book, so I expected it. The trouble with book sequels is you want to know the stories of the characters from the previous books. I just wish they could be told without cursing. The narrator was great.
