Publisher's summary

He is a vision from every woman's erotic fantasies. Existing in the twilight beneath sleep and consciousness, Connor brings them decadent pleasures, fueled by their sexual energy. But violence and strife now tear apart both worlds, and Connor must embark upon a quest into the mortal realm...and into the arms of one intoxicating enchantress.

Stacey Daniels has always been attracted to the wrong type of men - and the muscular, Viking-like champion on her front doorstep is no exception. She can hardly believe the wounded warrior is from another world, a world where erotic dreams are needed to survive, a world of terrible danger that has followed him to her home. Connor finds solace in her passion, but only time will tell if he can defeat the dark foe who hunts them...and if Stacey can surrender to the promise he offers with every electrifying touch.

It was intense. I couldn't put it down.

What did you love best about Heat of the Night?

The characters, the men were very strong but loving

What did you like best about this story?

The way the Conner decided what he wanted and just went for it. There was no thinking about what will happen next, who will like it, just this is what he wanted and that was it.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Conner first made his move on Stacey, I liked the way he eased her into what they both really wanted.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

The great love between the dream guardian and the woman he chose as his mate.

Any additional comments?

I would read this book again and I look forward to book 3 and hopefully many more in this series. I loved the narrator, she made the books come alive. I would definitely read almost any book she was narrating.

It always ends too soon

Any additional comments?

This is the second book in the series and just like the first, it ends in an odd place. Yes that type of ending is successful in making me purchase the next book, but it is annoying. I enjoyed the story line and can't wait for book three to be released.

More questions than Answers

I’m a huge fan of Sylvia Day’s writings, so the fact this book left me with more questions than answers wasn’t surprising. Day’s books usually leaves the reader wanting more, anticipating the next chapter but here lies the problem, where is the next book? This book was written almost five years ago, surely in that time, a third book should have been written.

I love how the relationship between Connor and Stacy develops in the book. I read others comments about this book needed more romance and I think it had a nice balance of romance and action, in my opinion. I’m just really dying to find out the rest of the story. Please don’t leave us panting for more

Why choose a woman narrator on this?

Unbearably long prologue in a mish-mash of female playing male foreign accents.
You know sooner or later it’s going to end in episodes of fear interspersed with graphic romance.
This time it just wasn’t enough.
