Publisher's summary

Time is running out for Hannah. With her life hanging by a thread and Tate trying to kidnap her, she finds help in an unusual quarter - the man who put the narcoleptic memory block on her as a child. Yet the powerful hypnotist may not be all that he seems. It's difficult to trust a man who regularly hypnotizes his wife against her wishes, and who is much too interested in Jack's unnatural abilities.

With so much at stake, the last thing Hannah and Jack need is to be apart. Yet they cannot touch each other if they want to stay alive.

Sounded great to me, I like the narrator's voice

Sylvia didn't sound that bad, and the story was pretty awesome, it wasn't epic, but engaging and we'll paced. There was enough mystery to keep you drawn in, and the characters were likable, with interesting personalities and a good group dynamic. I haven't written a review in some time, but this one disserves some good praise, considering the not so positive reviews. So I suggest giving it a chance, uncovering this unique mystery.

I hate this narrator

i think she she ruined the books for me. I'm going to have to read them on my own.

Not a bad story, awful narrator.

All the women screech, and the men sound droll.
Storyline wasn’t bad, though! I wish the author would re-record all of the Freak House books!

The narration is probably the worst I’ve ever heard.

Narrating a character to sound like Miss Piggy (Sylvia) is the worst. I was distracted entirely. I used it for background while I mowed the lawn, it was that bad. The male characters are also extremely dramatic. I wanted to like this book, but alas, the narrator killed it dead.
