Publisher's summary

Growing up, Jill Garrison never daydreamed about having the perfect wedding. Instead, she dreamt about having a baby. Boy or girl, it didn't matter. Unfortunately, her fiancé can't have children. Determined to realize her lifelong dream of having a baby, Jill spends years searching for a company (CryoCorp) that provides high-quality donor sperm.

Everything is right in Jill's world until her wedding day, when her fiancé leaves her at the altar to be humiliated before friends and family. She doesn't waste any time moving from New York City to California to start over. And she keeps her appointment with CryoCorp. She may never have the wedding or the husband, but nothing is going to stop her from having a baby. She's tired of everyone telling her what to do. The baby she's carrying is hers and hers alone. Nobody can take that away from her. Or can they?

Cute story, hard listen.

The Narrators voice is whiny which is distracting to the story. cute story in General, and the story itself is what kept me listening. Just a bit on the predictable side.

Wonderful Story full of Surprises

What made the experience of listening to Having My Baby the most enjoyable?

The characters were unusual, likable and real and the Hero's family added a lot to the appeal.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Jill got a good deal in the end. I felt she deserved it.

What didn’t you like about Sarah Drew’s performance?

Sorry but the performance was AWFUL. First narrator that nearly had me stop listening. Her Lexi voice grated on my nerves. She gets so shrill at times.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I had to force myself to finish, which is unusual. Especially when Lexi spoke.

Any additional comments?

Great Author but the Audiobook was ruined for me by the Narrator.

Do not waste a credit.

Would you try another book from Theresa Ragan and/or Sarah Drew?

I would not purchase another book from this author.

Would you ever listen to anything by Theresa Ragan again?

The narrator was talented. It is not her fault that the story was so bad.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Yes

Was Having My Baby worth the listening time?

No, not at all.

Any additional comments?

This is the worst, unrealistic plot I have ever heard of. I cannot believe I made it through the whole thing.

chicklit for real Jill gets and eye opener

Jill never expected to work so hard for the one thing in life she wanted. She never expected to have that one thing belong half to someone else. She never expected that someone else to want to be so much a part of her life. She never expected her life to go the way that it was going. Now she has a dream, a wish, a hope, and a pray all at her feet.

There were no real standout points for me in the audio, narration, or even the story. It was something to pass the time and enjoy a story while doing it.

Story was ok

This audio book is ok ish. The story is alright, it entertained and so mission accomplished. The reader was not so much,,, the voices had no distinction, she made men’s voices high pitched and whining and I had a hard time knowing when a kid was “talking” compared to adult male. I struggled right to the end with her interpretation of the voices. The story was somewhat predictable but there were enough laughs and to keep it interesting enough to suffer through the reader.
