Publisher's summary

Have my baby.

That was what my single-dad best friend, Seth, said to me while I was waitressing at the diner.

His little girl wants a sibling. But Seth is a workaholic millionaire and doesn't have time to meet someone.

Someone who won't screw him over, like his kid's mother.

Only problem is this someone has secretly been in love with him since high school. I've been hiding it forever, not wanting to risk our friendship.

Sleeping with him is my biggest fantasy. And I've fantasized plenty, being a virgin. Another thing he doesn't know.

Now, I have to make the biggest decision of my life.

Is having a no-strings-attached affair just to make a baby better than never having him at all?

Author’s note: This case of insta-love and insta-naked-time has been brewing for over a decade. Babymaking has never been so hot...or so funny...or so complicated.

Have My Baby!

Best friends to lovers! This is right up my alley right here! Seth and Alley have been friends since high school and she has loved him ever since. Now she's been offered a no strings attached relationship with him and she must decide if that is what she wants if it's the only way she can have him. This is a fun, romantic, sexy book that had me laughing and smiling the whole way through. Again top notch performance from Kai and Wen!

Sexy fun

Another fun read from Taryn Quinn as friends finally discover that there's more than just friendship between them. Have My Baby has fun, quirky characters and a storyline that has humor and heart. Ross and Kennicott do an amazing job with the narration. Combined, this is a wonderful listening experience.

the story was good, but ......

The story was good, not great but it was very confusing I thought we would have a story about the pregnancy, but it was mostly just her deciding what to do ?!!!

Friends to Lovers

A good friends to lovers story is a plot that is always entertaining, seeing what the change is, were they always in love, will they still be friends if things don't work out. Throw in a single dad to this mix, and Taryn Quinn has given us something delicious to listen to. Seth and Ally have one of those relationships forged in high school that is so strong, they both know the love is there. But if they tell each other, where will it lead? Leave it up to Seth. When he ends up divorced with his custody of his toddler daughter, Laurie, he decides that it's time to expand his family, and what better way than with his best friend? The plot from there is both hot, the banter is fun and there is nothing more entrancing than a dad with his child. In this case though, Ally with Laurie is just as warm and sweet. Add Seth's twin brother Oliver and Laurie's best friend Sage into the mix and the story has a cast that is easy to fall for.

This audio in duet narration with Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross brings the story to life, so you will experience the journey these two take. Deciding to trust, determining a future and understanding why things are the way they are performed so well, it's like we are watching the couple learn and grow together. The chemistry between these two narrators is evident in their portrayal giving us a realistic happily ever after.

Liked it!

What does Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have to admit it was different having the constant go between with the voices. Usually it is the same person portraying the two different people. This I had to get used to, but it was nice.

Any additional comments?

I really think the author or whomever should have researched how a 4 year old really talks. The narrator made this 4 year old sound VERY babyish. I know she was not a big player in the book but when Kai Kennicott was doing the voice for "Lori" it was bad. I wasn't sure if I was listening to a 2 year old or what.
