Publisher's Summary

"And when he lifts those baby blue eyes in my direction, I just about melt, and whisper for him to come closer."

Phoebe Banks is driven. She moved to small town Kansas to be closer to her brothers, and to open her own bar--a dream she's had for years. She doesn't have time for relationships.

But when Isaac, an incredibly sexy grad student, tosses out an unruly patron in her bar, Phoebe finds herself a bit distracted by his piercing blue eyes and bulging muscles. His shyness that doesn't seem to extend into the bedroom. The two can't keep their hands off each other, and soon, Phoebe realizes she might just be falling in love for the first time.

As the semester ticks past, Isaac's family wants him to move home to Arizona. Phoebe's afraid she's holding him back, but Isaac does't agree. He'll do everything he can to prove to her that what they have is real. And that kind of love is hard to find.

Sweet love story

This was a shorter love story- Great characters- I have enjoyed the other books in this series as well, I would have loved to read more on these characters.

Narration was great- no complaints at all on the narration or production.

Cute series :)

Fun, Sexy listen!

Fun and sexy, this new adult book pulls you in from the start. It's book 4 of the series, but my first listen and is easy to follow. Phoebe has moved to a small town in Kansas to be close to her brothers. She has begun realizing her dream of opening a successful bar when Isaac comes into her life. A sexy grad student, Isaac is studying to be a lawyer and the chemistry between Phoebe and Isaac is off the charts. This novella has some questions though that need to be answered. Is Phoebe ready for a committed relationship? And more importantly, what will happen when Isaac graduates? Morgan Young has packed this story full feelings, from the success driven to the insecurity of love. It is a quick, satisfying story and leaves you with that feel good spirit.

Sophie James did an amazing performance of this book. She has a beautiful, sultry tone and narrates at a good pace. Her voices for each character are easily discernible and gives the feels you want as you listen.

Short, sweet, sexy, steamy!

I really enjoyed this story. It pulled me in and had me rooting for the couple to make it from the start. I can’t wait to check out the other books in this series. This is the 4th book but, it’s a stand alone. I’ve not listened to the others and had no problem connecting to the characters or following along; in fact, I enjoyed the characters and book so much, I intend to listen to this book again after I’ve listened to books 1-3. The narration is fabulous. Sophie James did an amazing job giving each character a unique voice. I look forward to listening to more of her work. I received a review copy at my request and voluntarily reviewed.

Feel Good Story

I did not read the books that came before this one and would love to find out what happened before. This is a stand-alone but would be much better if I had the others under my belt. There appear to be four or five brothers and a sister. All have returned home after their mother's illness and death. This is the sister's story. She has saved her money and bought a bar. Her love interest is a shy graduate student. He comes in with his lucky hat for weeks, sits and buys beers and just watches her until one day his sister visits and this causes the bar owner to have to come to the table and speak to him. The story moves on from there. There is some angst, some nastiness, lots of sex and falling in love. The ending is great. The narrator moved the story along and was good for the story. I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review.

Prepare Your Ears for a Naughty Escape

The more that I hear from Morgan Young and Sophie James the happier I am that I have discovered them. The books are fun, to the point and full of sexy scenes. Sophie James has the ability that only a few female narrators have – the ability to portray male characters with a husky and believable performance. Fantastic!

This book (as the others I've heard) does not require a lot of brain power. Sometimes that is just what the listener is in the mood for, sexy and naughty – ear candy. I mean that in a good way, though it does sound sort of gross!

Warning to those who want to avoid strong language and scenes of intimacy in the bedroom, in the hallway, in the backseat of a car, etc. :-)

Overall a good listen

Would you try another book from Morgan Young and/or Sophie James?

Yes. I have found myself enjoying this little series about the Banks. I enjoyed listening to Phoebe's story. Another book by this author that was narrated by Sophie James lead me to this one.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Maybe a little longer but it was still good at this length

Any additional comments?

I liked this story. Isaac was different than many heroes but that was refreshing. He was a little too sensitive but I guess the author used that as a tool to show how much younger he was than Phoebe and how he wasn't her usual type. I liked Phoebe. She was tough and independent but she still didn't think she was good enough for Isaac. I really liked the conflict and resolution to this one. I would enjoy more work by this author and narrator.

hot sexy college guy and the bartender

Isaac is a grad student who frequents Phoebe's bar. One night Isaac 'rescues' Phoebe from an unruly customer and the two have a hot n heavy one night thing. At least that's what Phoebe thought...but Isaac is persistent and soon they start a fling. Yes, a fling because Isacc is graduating in a few months and his family is pressuring him to return home to join the family's business. Did I mention that his family is very wealthy? Isaac is really into Phoebe but will she get over her insecurities of not being enough and the 3yr age difference? Will Isaac's family accept Phoebe?
Quick n steamy read...good commuter partner :-)

Short, Sweet, Sexy Listen!!

Even though this is a short listen (only 2.5 hrs), it packs a punch. The chemistry between Phoebe and Isaac is believable and hot!!

Morgan Young has done a great job writing a story that sucks the reader in straight away. This is an audiobook I will definitely re-listen to, thanks in part to Sophie James' narration.

Predictable, but cute

Thank you to author Morgan Young for providing me with a free audiobook of this story in return for an honest review.

Hard to find is book 3 in her Small Town Sexy Series. the series focuses on a family and how they find their romances. Hard to Find focuses on hardworking Pheobe, a bar owner who runs into mature student Isaac when he stands up for her in a bar struggle. Gradually, a one night stand turns into a spark of a romance.

I really liked Pheobe. The banter she had with her brothers was funny and I would like to read more into the brothers’ stories, especially Porter, who I really liked. Isaac is really sweet too, as a rich boy who left his family to get by himself in a small town, I’d have liked to maybe find out a little more about their values and maybe meet them.

The story was simple but sweet. It was an easy read where you knew what was going to happen, which wasn’t really much, but I still enjoyed listening to it.

The first few steamy encounters were very steamy! They seemed to mild down a little after that but they were well written.

The narrator had a good voice, she had a clear voice which worked for all characters that she spoke for.

It maybe could have been a little longer, we could have met Isaac’s family and what they thought of Pheobe, but it was fine where it was.

A very predictable story but very cute and a nice, easy listen.
