Ethan and Desirae

Hammer is gruff, stern, mad at the world because of his situation. Desirae is a sassy spitfire who turns his world upside down and brightens it up. They have a push and pull thing going on. Their chemistry is palpable even though they are fighting it. This was an exciting, endearing, frustrating, heart breaking, and at the same time heartwarming ride to go on with them. I love this series.
Narration was fantastic. Lucy Rivers and Joe Arden did an excellent job bring this thrilling story to life.

Dang what a good read!

I realllllly enjoyed this book. Ha. Monica is a total basarse mamajama. Her attitude matches that caring heart of hers. The new fire chief though has to learn this the hard way. He’s not going to put up much of a fight though. There’s something about Monica that draws him in and just lie a fish dangling on a line, he’s stuck.

When things around town start to catch fire and the chief starts putting two and two together he may find himself in a bit of a bind. Does he take the word of the beautiful woman he’s enamores with or does her try and justify what’s happening in his own way?

It’s the tale of two stubborn people who for the life of them just need to find the other together... until then, it’s a soccer match run in reverse!

Unanswered question

If Susie was ****** because they “thought” she had a flash drive, then they went after Des for the same item. If Des had the item and knew what was on it, (especially after seeing what happened to her sister), she’d have used it to leverage her freedom...that plot point didn’t make sense to me. What’s on the flash drive and who has it?

Hammer & Des

I liked how the beginning of the story it gave us a quick glimpse of his life before his accident and picks up where it ended in Ice’s story. MMC was always angry, felt sorry for himself and didn’t want anyone to see him as less than a man.
He was such an ass**** to the FMC when he had bar flies comeback to his bed while recovery and didn’t care the FMC was there or would hear. Condoms use for protection is great but what about oral - walking STDs.
FMC witnessed her sister’s murder and was a physical therapist treating the MMC. She was also under Regulator’s MC protection until the mystery is solved and the killer is captured. Low drama, no angst, very little violence, no cliffhanger and HEA. Is there a thumb drive and if so where & who has it? Not solved.
Dual narrators were great.

🌻I can’t be the only listener that feels this way!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I like this series, I really do, however, There is one thing I’d really like to change. All of these books end abruptly, as soon as the major conflict ends and the Hero and Heroine commit to each other. I wish that the H/h committed sooner or that book was longer so that we listeners could share more of the good times, between the H and h. I guess I have read/listened to so many Kristen Ashley’s books that I have become spoiled.

This isn’t typical MC series. This group is more of a military team that rides Harley’s and performs covert missions. There are some hot sex scenes but not many. Instead of club whores, they have bar flies. There isn’t any internal club drama and the violence isn’t graphic or often. In addition, this club isn’t much like a 1% club, they may approach the line of illegal behavior but, they exist more on the side of the law instead of against it.

So far books are OK

I don't have a problem with any of the narrators. I love them all. The problem I have is with the female heroine she should be a lot stronger with the nickname she has. that's the biggest problem. Plus everything stops on a snap. NOT GOOD!!!!! I got this for free thank God I would have been so upset if I had to use a credit it's not even worth spending any money on this book. Very disappointing. don't waste time or money on this.

The beer bottle at the beginning

I appreciate dark romance, but the beer bottle at the beginning? The beginning was a little too much degrading to want to listen to any more.

narrators are better.

3 hrs in, I'm enjoying this one. The narrators on this one are better than the 1st one. When the female narrator goes into a low male voice, she slows down, quite noticeably. The male narrator can read the dictionary & I'd listen.
There seem to be some timing inconsistencies between the two books, but it doesn't bother me enough to re-listen to "ICE".

Over the Top

Language and graphic scenes are too much. Potential to be a good story. Narration was just bad.
