Publisher's summary

Fired, broke, and nowhere to go, Luvie Beiderman moves back to her hometown and opens up Primp My Pet Mobile Pet Spa.

Jase Nelson is hot, smart, and has a big heart. Especially when it comes to his Irish setter, Duke. After Primp My Pet pulls into the dog park and Luvie gets out, Jase knows there is definitely enough space in his big heart for another redhead.

Jase isn't as perfect as everyone thinks. Can Luvie groom him to be Mr. Right?

Enjoyable escape

I usually read and enjoy all kinds of mysteries. This cute romance novel was a very fun listen. The story flowed well and was interesting enough to make me want to know what was going to happen. I really liked the narration by Trish Mckinnley too. Her voice fit the character. I Recommend this audiobook

Decent

This was a cute story, but it didn't have a lot of substance. I was never on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what happened next. I never really felt like Luvie had anything to lose. Her mom was supposed to be this dreadful woman, but she always seemed to want what was best for Luvie. All of the "problems" were solved in an unrealistic timely manner. It was just too neat and tidy for me.

Romance in the Bluegrass

What made the experience of listening to Grooming Mr. Right the most enjoyable?

The narration really brought this story to life for me and I enjoyed all the characters and being able to relate bc it was set in Kentucky and had very correct and spot on descriptions.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Luvie was a hoot, she's fun and quirky and always into something.

What about Trish Mckinnley’s performance did you like?

I liked that I could clearly listen and know which character was speaking. Her accent also gave the story an authentic southern feel.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Home is where the heart is

Any additional comments?

This is a super cute and sweet story about a southern girl trying to make it in the big city. When things go wrong she finds herself heading home to her family and familiar surroundings. With a new career in her hometown and her friends and family by her side Luvie must figure out where her heart really is. To complicate matters more she meets a sexy dog owner and will have to decide if her heart belongs in KY.

Cute happily ever after

Unfortunately the narration, in my opinion, spoilt a lovely love story. I found it over-acted in some parts to the degree that my attention went into an overdrive 'huh'? What a pity!
The story itself was a cute happily ever-after and I would possibly have enjoyed it more as a self read book.
