Publisher's Summary

Four brothers who believe in service before self and the women who will bring them to their knees.

The youngest of the Santinis, Gee has always been the biggest flirt. He usually has no problem charming women. That is until he spies Kianna Jones across the room. For once in his life, he is unable to charm her into a date.

Kianna is a woman who doesn't expect romance, especially with a sexy PJ, who is five years younger than she is. But he just won't give up, so she agrees to a date, which turns into several and eventually to the best sex of her life. Still, she isn't ready to commit beyond their present status.

Gee isn't happy when Kianna resists taking their relationship to the next level, but he refuses to give up. If there is one thing a Santini understands, it is that nothing worth fighting for comes easily - and he is prepared to launch the campaign of his life.

Fast & Easy; Wrong narrator

This is my first story by this author and possibly my last, especially if the same narrator is used. The story was okay, though I tired of Kiana saying “Why?” And the story progressed a bit too quickly, losing substance as a result. But so much of the good aspects of the story were overshadowed by the narrator’s horrible portrayal of the female characters. I couldn’t always tell when he was portraying a female or a male b/c they all sounded like a male. And, based on Kiana’s description, the narrator’s poor female voicing ability detracted from the story even more when he was portraying Kiana, which was a lot as a result of her being a main character. And I agree w/ 1 reviewer about the irritation with the use of acronyms without explanation of what they mean. On the positive, I really liked the small bits of humor and the author breaking from the overwhelming norm in fiction and especially romances to tell the story of an interracial relationship where the woman, the love interest, is a woman with brown skin (described as rich or deep cocoa) and curly hair. I liked that it was a romantic relationship with a 7-year difference between Kiana and Gianni, with Kiana being older at age 33. And I liked that Kiana’s physical description also broke the mold as far as figure or body shape, with Gianni liking her curves, her rounded ass, and plump lips (which were actually believable, unlike some stories).

However, Kiana’s easy and numerous orgasms were too unbelievable, so, even though letting go of some realism in fiction is the norm, that was just too much and detracted from my enjoyment of the story. And the 1 or 2 sex scenes were pretty fast. And though there was a disagreement near the end, overall, their getting together was too pat, too easy. Still, quite likable
