Publisher's summary

Kacey Dawson has always lived life on the edge - impulsively, sometimes recklessly. And now, as lead guitarist for a hot up-and-coming band, she is poised at the brink of fame and fortune. But she is torn between wanting to be a serious musician and the demons that lure her down the glittering but alcohol-soaked path of rock stardom. A wrecked concert in Las Vegas threatens to ruin her career entirely. She wakes up with the hangover from hell and no memory of the night before or how she ended up on her limo driver's couch....

Jonah Fletcher is running out of time. He knows his situation is hopeless, and he's vowed to make the most of the handful of months he has left to him. His plans include seeing the opening of his glass installation at a prestigious art gallery...they do not include falling in love with a wild, tempestuous rock musician who wound up passed out on his couch. Jonah sees that Kacey is on a path to self-destruction. He lets her crash with him for a few days to dry out and get her head on straight. But neither of them expects the deep connection they feel or how that connection can grow so fast from friendship into something more.

Be prepared for heartbreak

I am lost for words...

This is an extremely beautiful, but heartbreaking story not likely to leave me.

My shirt is soaked down the front from catching a flod of tears, my eyes red an swollen.

I know no other author who can do this to me, Emma Scott is truely a master at her craft...

Noah is worth everything.

Absolutely beautiful story, heartbreaking and so touching. Two souls found each other to bring the other to life in ways neither expected. The narration was great and the voices were perfect.

Breathtaking

Deep sadness but joy after reading this breathtakingly beautiful love story. Love is a mystery that I understand a little more after reading this book.

The Best Kind of Heartbreak

This book literally shook my soul. I fell hard for Kacey & Jonah quickly and was so wrapped up in their stories it was hard to get out of the car even when I got home from work - or any other number of random car trips just so I could get a few more minutes of listening in!!! I am so very thankful for the chance to read this book - even if it broke a little piece of me, it was absolutely worth it!!! <3

Universe in a glass ball

I'm a devout Emma fan. There's no doubt or two ways about it. She can chop your heart in a ceviche and you'd still compliment her chef skills, she's that phenomenal.
Full tilt was going to be a soul destroyer, I already knew that. But I wasn't afraid of ugly crying or snot-sobbing, cause the journey is the reward itself.
And what a journey..what a pilgrimage of love this turned out to be. Jonah is immortalized to a selfless demi-god stature by this book. His acts of courage, his bravery, his struggle with destiny will FOREVER be kept alive cause Kacey Dawson is alive. We will follow her journey in All In next
Just a tad frustration I felt with her character. She came across as a bit self indulgent. She either didn't realize the actual gravity or was focused on herself, cause she repeatedly initiated sex with Jonah when he was at his weakest. When he says, "not today kase" she actually pouts!!
Other than that...it's P.E.R.F.E.C.T
Narrators did an excellent job putting extra angst in their tears infused voices.

This was a Love Story

Not sex. Not the silliness of misunderstandings. Not Lust. This is a story about individual growth, love, and sacrifice. It is well told.

Great sad book.

I literally cried my eyes out. The last 15% of the book were just crying. The entire time.

Honestly the amount of books that people say are crazy sad, I’ve read and haven’t thought they were that sad but this book? 1000% is as sad as they say. I went in thinking it would be and I still wasn’t prepared for the amount of sad it was.
