This book spoke to me! So good! Loved it!

I was curious about Trex from his appearance in the Maddox Brothers books. He was so mysterious and I wondered who the heck “his people” were. I even remember not liking him at one point. Now that I’ve read and listened to it, I have to say that he was NOT what I expected. He was pretty freaking cute, has a great sense of humor and really appealed to me. I absolutely love him! And Darby... Gah! I related to her on so many levels. Both of them spoke to me deeply. There were so many times that I felt like one or both of them were speaking directly to me. I had to pause several times while listening and just let what they said sink in. This book came at just the right time in my life and I absolutely loved and adored it. Amazing read and listen. I highly recommend it. Trex and Darby are definitely high on my list of favorite McGuire couples!

Different but good

Different to the maddox brothers and beautiful disaster books whilst still linked. Worth the credit.

This is a great book

This book kept me up at night. I wanted to finish it and see how the story ended. I had a hard time with Derby. She was so naïve at times. Love the ending and now on to the next book of the series.

Trex gives Travis a run for his money as McGuire’s top leading man. A beautiful love story!

It has taken me a few weeks to write my review but I wanted to do this book justice. I realized that I can never sum this book up perfectly for you.
Here’s what I can say...
Jamie McGuire is back and 100%. If you loved Beautiful Disaster, you’ll love From Here to You. As I read I kept having those same feelings that I did when I read about Travis and Abby. I wanted Trex and Darby to make it, to succeed, to be ok, to love and hold on.
These characters are breathtaking. Darby is the perfect combination of strength and vulnerability. She realizes her worth and is determined to get it. Trex is an ex-military bada** that you fall in love with from the start. He knows what he wants and has had no problem waiting his life for it. He wasn’t going to settle and he won’t give it up now. I’m not a huge love at first sight fan, but Trex made me fall in love with Darby right along with him and I enjoyed every single second of it.

This is one of those books that you’ll “highlight” half of the words, as quotes jump out at you on every page. That’s what draws me to McGuire’s work so much, is her ability to make me feel every word I read in every inch of my bones. This book is no different. Some lines will touch you in your soul and leave you changed, I know some did for me and I couldn’t be happier about it.

You’ll go on highs and lows with Trex and Darby and you’ll thank Jamie McGuire for every single one of them.

far fetched but enjoyable

this was a good book. I really struggled with (spoiler....) the fact that this guy could so easily fall in love with and want to be with this woman after such a short time. and then him saying he loved her it was just too little 'get to know you' before they were a relationship. 0 to 60.

Beautiful!

I read and listened to lots of books. Some fall short of perfection because although well written, I sometimes feel that some authors confuse lust and love. I was completely blown away by this story because it was real. I felt every emotion the characters the experienced. I felt the joy, pain, love, fear, lust, doubt, hatred and so many more. I cried more time with this book than I have my whole life because it hits really hard in the heart. Major kudos to the narrators for bringing this wonderful book to life. To the author, thank you for writing a fantastic, realistic love story. Btw, this could be a really amazing movie.

Jamie never disappoints!

Surprise!! there's more to the story, and you get to see more of the Maddox boys. so glad I picked this up!! I want to hear it again already!! in fact... bye!

Loved the love!!!

This book had me at hello!!! And i am not one to wrote reviews bit it is defy a MIST listen!!! Our Maddox boys and the hotshots are back (in the background) with the two new main characters being nothing short of amazing. Trex is os the man you “fantasize “ just “bumping into” and then all of your fairytale hopes and dreams and wishes come trie.... not to say he’s not a guy so watch out he does have his um well few flaws here and there!! But totally overlookable in my eyes when he is perfection in every other way!!!!
Then there is Darby I cant tell you much about her (with out totally throwing out tons of spoilers) other then shes has a tough life but still going strong and determined to have a safe happy life !! She is love-able and caring though very untrusting and for good reason.
The rest of the new cast of characters are all interesting in their own ways and could definitely each have their own book that i would devour the same as i dod this one. I got nothing done for like a day and a half and because i mostly listen in my car i will admit i am guilty of more then once getting to where i was going and just sitting in the car for like 20 mins before I found a place I could tear myself away from it then rush and do what i HAD to do so i could get back to listening again.... unfortunately the one downside is that Ms. McGuiare is only making this a two book series which is a bummer and second id really love of they’d speed ip the release!!!!!! Til October!!!! Happy reading!!!!

Ahhhhh ❤️’d this book

I LOVED this book, loved how it brought in other awesome characters from my favorite series ever!! The story told in this book is catching, keeps you interested all the way to the end.

Sooo good.

Love it. This book has it all. Suspense, action and love. Narration was perfect. Definitely recommend it
