A woman who can't let go of her past....
Melanie Addario has been in emotional limbo since her boyfriend disappeared two years ago. Now a secret admirer is coaxing her well-protected heart out of hiding, making her question if she should wait for a man who may never come back, or if it's finally time to open herself to new possibilities.
Just as she's beginning to make progress, a self-proclaimed fortune-teller throws Melanie for a loop when the other woman suggests her admirer is none other than her long-lost boyfriend, Army Lieutenant Greg Mora. Will the man she once loved really come back into her life, or is the fortune-teller way off base?
A man who must fight for his future....
Rafael Delacruz never meant to become a secret admirer. When he left the first gift on Melanie's doorstep, he had every intention of finally asking out the blonde bombshell who'd attracted his attention years before. But the very next day, she was asking him for a job, and there was no way he was going to send her away. Now he's Melanie's boss, an arrangement that has him firmly pressed between his desires and responsibility.
When the owner of Crescent Moon puts the vineyard on the market for a small fortune, Moon Lake outsider, Rafael, is forced to find the backing of an investor to buy the business he has come to love. But someone is trying to sabotage operations at the vineyard, putting his plans for Crescent Moon and his hopes for a relationship with Melanie in jeopardy.
As Rafael works to solve the mystery of the vineyard saboteur, loyalties will be tested as shadows from the past rise up to be counted, forcing both Melanie and Rafael to choose between that which is given freely and that which can only be hoped for. Will they be able to separate friends from enemies before it's too late, or will they lose the vineyard - and each other - forever?

I absolutely loved this story.
Both Melanie and Rafael have been hurt in their pasts. Melanie is still dealing with her feelings for an ex, who disappeared from her life to deal with his demons. Rafael is trying to get over his childhood, which was definitely not a good one.
The chemistry between the two was crazy. Both of them were honest about their feelings, and didn't hide their pasts. There were twists and turns throughout the story, and just when you think one person is behind what's going on, Amy throws another twist in to the story.
Eva was an awesome narrator, who kept me drawn in to the story even further.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fantastic audio book, and can't wait to see what else Amy has coming for us

Where does Fortune on Moon Lake rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It has just enough thrills to keep it moving along for those who typically prefer sci-fi or thrillers versus Romances.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Eva Kaminsky?
Eva was a fantastic narrator - sultry and seductive with some charm and a lot of great sarcasm. The perfect voice for this book.

Overall it was a good read. I prefer other genres but this was a delightful guilty pleasure.
Melanie and Greg had a wonderful romance & a bright future; that is until Greg was deployed to Afghanistan. When he returned, Greg was nothing like he had been before he left. She cared for and & tried to help get back to normal life,
One day he told Melanie that he could not live under the shadows of the hometown they had always resided. She all but begged him to let her go with him. He told her but this is something he had already started it, leaving Melanie behind.
Years later she is still pining for him and their lost future. Greg was the only man she had ever loved. Now, she lives with and is caring for her mother who isn't feeling well. Melanie doesn't date or have interest in any of that.
Rafael is a loner. ... he comes into her favorite hang out and watches her. There is just something about this woman that intrigues him…
In truth, Melanie and Rafael had met years ago when they were both quite young. But Rafael pretended he did not know who she was, so she did the same.
Rafael offers her job at his winery. Melanie knows nothing about wineries, but jobs are hard to come by so she accepts on a trial basis.
Who is leaving gifts for Melanie at her home? Will she be able to do her job, lacking training and skills normally required? What secrets do the characters hold? Will they reveal them in time? Will Melanie ever be able to move on from Greg, or is he the other half she held so briefly?
Amy Gamet takes us on the events listed above and even more follow. It is like a roller coaster – in a good way - for the reader/listener. I think that most romance listeners would enjoy the story. It is clean, somewhat innocent, nothing graphic.
Eva Kaminsky is a delightful performer. She makes an already great story come to life. An eclectic and vast array of characters are performed with ease and professionalism.
If this were a movie rating: PG-13

I loved the storyline and the characters. The narrator brought the story to life and did an amazing job with all the voice changes between the characters. The book flowed well and was fun and easy listen.
Romance is a vast genre with twists and turns in all directions and I definitely would love to read more stories like this with the characters being so relatable rather then like perfect unreal characters you find in other romance books.
The author explains the characters feelings and surroundings in a way you envision and feel everything that's being experienced and felt. I loved the touch of mystery and the fact that Melanie and Raphael had issues to overcome.
This is a sweet romance. I found it easy to listen to in one sitting. Melanie and Raphael are dealing with things from there past while trying to live their lives in the present. Can they work things out when those obstacles make an appearance and can they build a relationship or will the past put all things to a halt. Add in the mysterious accidents at the winery and this makes an all around fantastic story that you don't want to miss.
FORTUNE ON MOON LAKE : LOVE ON THE LAKE BOOK 2 is a heartwarming and soul stirring romance that will leave you wanting to get your hands on book three. Although book two reads as a standalone, I recommend reading the whole series for maximum enjoyment.
Author Amy Gamet has written a story that will stay with you long after you've read the last word. Narrator Eva Kaminsky does a great job with the different voices and manages to seamlessly jump back and forth between the different characters. I highly recommend that you get your copy of FORTUNE ON MOON LAKE today!
Would you listen to Fortune on Moon Lake again? Why?
Yes, it was a great story and I listened to it in one sitting. There are a lot of twists and turns and you want to keep listening to find out how this story ends.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Fortune on Moon Lake?
I love the mystery gifts and I kind of figured what was going to happen next after they hear the fire department.
What about Eva Kaminsky’s performance did you like?
Great voice and it was annoying, some narrators can make or break an audio book.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I wanted to say wake up when they were having a picnic.
Any additional comments?
thank you for the great story Amy Gamet
It's quite refreshing to listen to such a sweet book. Although a bit of gritty was attempted, I still kept thinking how sweet it was. I liked that I could predict what would happen which allowed me to just sit back and enjoy.
Even thou this book was Book 2 of the series, it easily stands alone as a novel. The narration was great with a convincing male voice done by Eva. Would happily listen to another of either the authors of the narrators.
