What did you love best about First Moon?

The story was well narrated and the characters were amazing and the sassiness made me laugh and smile many times.
Its actioned packed and both the story and the narration pulls you into the book and can live exactly what is going on.
Its like you are inside the book!

What other book might you compare First Moon to and why?

I don't know if i can compare as i don't have much experience with audiobooks...but it was freaking amazing!

Which character – as performed by Audrey Lusk – was your favorite?

I have to admit all of them but just a bit more Christine and Audrey!

Ohhh my god so many times i burst out laughing or snickered!!!!

Wonderful enticing story

What did you love best about First Moon?

I have both read and listened to this story and love the story line. Michelle Fox did an amazing job with the story line and it really drug me in. I love how the characters are so well rounded and given great depth.

What did you like best about this story?

I love the characters. I love how they change grow and develop.

What aspect of Audrey Lusk’s performance would you have changed?

I wasn't particularly impressed with her various voice attempts

werewolf trouble

i loved this from start to finish.
the way wolf born werewolves had different powers to normal werewolves and then we have bitten humans that transform. oh and the hot sex was awesome. A Must listen or read

Wow funny and action-packed! This story was great!
Audrey works for the parks and recreation services. She funny, tought and yet vulnerable. When she was called to a murder scene she finds a huge black wolf with blue eyes hurt and locked up in a cage and she knows she has just got to help the wolf.
Tao is NOT a wolf, he is a werewolf and one smell told him, he not only wants Audrey but she was also bitten by another werewolf. The one he is hunting (his brother ) he also knows he has to save her from this brother.
In the audio The woman reading this story is a trip lol she added tons of humor to the characters the way she reads them. So funny I loved it.
I am looking forward to more books by this author. Give her a try you will not be disappointed.

Michigan Werewolves

Michigan Werewolves, being from Michigan I love most books set in our Great State. This audio is a Great story taking in our Wonderful State and National Parks along Lake Michigan. Add in Werewolves and this book has it All. A must have in your library.

Ice Cream and Sexy Werewolf = Win!

I love listening to a book and realizing that it was one I had previously enjoyed reading. Better, yet is when you don’t want to stop listening. First Moon was one of those books. Audrey is an independent woman that prefers her ice cream to being super skinny. I say go girl power!! (and mint chocolate chip).

As part of the park department, Audrey is asked to look at an animal attack on a human. She ends up running into Tao who is in town to retrieve a werewolf for his alpha. Tao is a sexy werewolf that suddenly finds himself unsure of anything but that he’s protecting Audrey. Audrey and Tao are on a collision course with fate and all by the First Moon.

The narrator, Audrey Lusk, did a good job with the voices and the characters. The sex lines from Tao did sound a bit cheesy as spoken. I don’t recall it feeling that awkward when reading the book. So maybe it was just the inflection of the narrator. It wasn’t anything that turned me off of the book.

First Moon might be a stand-alone but it is a great start to a series. There were enough characters introduced in this book that were intriguing leaving plenty of directions for the next stories to go.

book was interesting and well written

I finished this audible book in under 4 days. it was fun and interesting. I really thought the book was well written and I highly enjoyed Audrey's attitude.

what I didn't like about the book was when it got to the sex scenes. I am not one for huge sex scenes and it seemed to take away from the book. The part about spanking (maybe it's a personal preference ) does not interest me one bit. In my point of view it degrades a women and takes a strong character like Audrey and makes her weak.

was not a huge fan of narrator. her voice made the serious parts almost comical.

I listened to this book on Audible. Maybe it would have been better if I just read it myself, but not much. The narrator would be all excited, yet I would be chuckling at the weird happenings. I did love the storyline, but some events just didn't jive.
Tao was suppose to have super strength, yet he repeatedly got beaten up. Audrey got her finger bitten off and passed out, yet had rough crazy sex after coming home from hospital. And Tao, the carnivore agreeing to eat vegan! Tao pulling out a pic of his "curvy" ex girlfriend to prove he is attracted to Audrey. Why does he carry that pic around? Anyway. I prefer believable storylines even in PNR reads. I did enjoy the hot animalistic sex scenes.

This is what I wrote when I read the ebook:

This is the first in a new series by this best-selling author. I am so thankful for “meeting” Michelle on Facebook. She invited me to read and I said yes… actually what I said was, “you had me at paranormal romance.” We all know how much I love werewolves in love. Add in that our female lead is a BBW like me and it was easy to fall in love with Audrey. The blurb tells you that Tao is the strong, silent type. Yea, that’s code for “OMG hot and alpha!”

This book was a page turner. I could not put it down. In fact, when I fell asleep at midnight last night it was in my hand and my brain wouldn’t turn off. I woke up at 3am to read another chapter or two before passing out again. I refused to get out of bed this morning until I had finished this story.

This book completely stands on its own with no cliffhanger, but there will be more in the series as the pack members find their HEAs and they all deserve the best guys and girls out there! I have permission from Michelle to let ya’all know that book two will be Sheriff Martin’s with a bit of fun stuff from Kai. This may have been the first book I read from this author, but it definitely won’t be the last.

Now that I have "read" it again via Audible, I'm even more in love with Tao. Beautifully written and beautifully read.
