Publisher's summary

Now a completed trilogy.

Two fractured hearts and a forbidden love they can't deny.

You shouldn't want what you can't have....

Faye Donovan has lost everything. After her parents' tragic death, she's whisked away from her home in Ireland when an unknown uncle surfaces as her new guardian. Dropped smack-dab into the all-American dream, Faye should feel grateful. Except living with her wealthy uncle, his fashion-empire-owning wife, and their seven screwed-up sons is quickly turning into a nightmare - especially when certain inappropriate feelings arise. Kyler Kennedy makes her head hurt and her heart race, but he's her cousin. He's off limits. And he's not exactly welcoming - Kyler is ignorant, moody, and downright cruel at times - but Faye sees behind the mask he wears, recognizing a kindred spirit.

Kyler has sworn off girls, yet Faye gets under his skin. The more he pushes her away, the more he's drawn to her, but acting on those feelings risks a crap-ton of prejudice, and any whiff of scandal could damage the precious Kennedy brand. Concealing their feelings seems like the only choice.

But when everyone has something to hide, a secret is a very dangerous thing.

Will I enjoy this book?

Full of scandal, dysfunctional families, teen soap-opera-style angst and drama, secrets and lies, mean girls and catfights, lust and love, book one in the pause-resisting Kennedy Boys series will have you listening way beyond bedtime! Suitable only for listeners aged 17 and older due to mature content and language.

Please note this book contains a forbidden love theme featuring first cousins and a cliff-hanger. It is not a stand-alone listen.

Books in this Series
Finding Kyler
Losing Kyler
Keeping Kyler
The Irish Getaway - optional short novel
Loving Kalvin
Saving Brad

The three Kyler books must be listened to together. Thereafter, every book in the series will focus on a single Kennedy boy and his love interest, and they will be stand-alone titles with an HEA and no cliff-hanger.

Great story cabt wait to listen to the rest

LOVED IT! I will admit, I thought I wouldnt be able to get through it at first. ONLY because I couldnt connect with the females irish accent in the beginning. But the book itself sucked me in so deep I fell head over heels. I loved Sam. She is a spitfire and really just dont take any sort of crap off anyone (like myself). Kyler is sort of the same and super protective of Sam. I also really loved the taboo aspect of it all. The cliff hanger had me SHOCKED! My mouth is still hanging open. I am actually listening to the second book already while jumping into this review. 5 stars.

Drama, young forbidden love. Good Narration

I absolutely love Siobhan Davis' other book series, True Calling and Saven, so even though this series is a bit different from those series, I was excited to get my hands on Finding Kyler, and I enjoyed it! Siobhan Davis knows how to create an involving story, where once you start the book, you don't want to stop, and Finding Kyler definitely kept my interest.

I enjoyed the narrator's Irish accent. The female Irish accent did sound a bit weird on the boys, but overall, I enjoyed the listening experience. She did a nice job, and the quality is good.

In Finding Kyler, Faye's parents have died, and since she is only 17, she needs to leave Ireland and go live with her mother's rich brother in America, and Faye is not happy about it, but she doesn't have a choice. When Faye arrives, she meets her 7 male cousins and her Uncle's wife, and the boys aren't exactly welcoming, but Faye has sass, so she isn't having it. Among the most rude of the cousins is Kyler, he definitely has a chip on his shoulder, but Faye feels a connection with him, but his coldness towards her, makes her determined to fight her draw to him, but despite her best intentions, she doesn't last long. Also, Faye has to deal with the rich snobs, mean girls who think they are god's gift, catty bitchiness, and the dysfunction of her new family. There's lots of drama to be had in Finding Kyler! Finding Kyler takes places in a Richie Rich world, and deals with the pretentious, so be prepared to dislike most of the characters. Luckily Faye is a good character since the whole book is in her perspective, Faye is tough and independent, and after the initial meeting of her character, I really liked her. Kyler runs hot and cold most of the time, so I'm not in love with him yet, and the rest of the cousins are obnoxious and immature, so there wasn't any book boyfriend material as of yet, but lots of room for these boys to grow. Now, the whole thing of Faye and Kyler being cousins didn't really bother me too much, I think I'm more forgiving when things are in books, then if it were in actual life, so I was cool with that, and Siobhan Davis doesn't just gloss over the issue, she faces it head on in the book. Now, there is a huge bombshell at the end of the book, so this is a cliffhanger ending, so I'm definitely anticipating the next book. I definitely feel like there's something else going on behind the scenes of Faye's family; especially past transgressions of members of Faye's family, so I'm excited to see where Siobhan takes this story, and I hope the next book doesn't make me wait too long before I get some answers!

Audio Version

The story line isn’t the problem but they should’ve had a guy to narrate the male lines. I agree with other reviews that it was hard to listen too. The guys didn’t sound manly at all and the overall performance would’ve been so much better has there been a male and female both doing the narration.

Power on through the first five chapters and the narration improves.

This story is amazing. I almost gave up listening to this book because the narration was awful in the beginning, but her narration improved, and the twists and turns get really interesting. The characters are well written. Give this book a chance.

Great start to an amazing series!!

After the sudden death of her parents, Faye had to leave her home In Ireland and go to the United States, Wellesley, Massachusetts to be precise, and live with family she had never even known of before. She had to move in to the wealthy home of her Uncle (her mom’s brother) and his wife, with their and their seven very gorgeous and very messed up sons. Their family has above and beyond what the normal family has for problems. In comes Faye, who was an only child, and grew up in a well balanced home life. Faye is a great character! She is a strong and well balanced person, and she doesn't know what to make of this family and they don't know what to make of her!! As time goes along some of them come to really love Faye, especially Kyler. She starts to feel like she belongs there and feels loved.

Kyler is such an interesting character, with so many layers, or I should say walls. But Faye gets through, but only Faye and I believe she still hasn't quite gotten him stripped bare yet. But he is grouchy and mean on the outside but a softie on the inside. He loves and cares about his family. And he especially loves and cares about Faye. Deep down he has an immense capacity for love.

This book was delectable. Sinfully yummy. And a little taboo. I loved every bite.

I had previously read this book a while back, but listening to it was so nice!! I felt Sinead Collins did a great job as Faye, really great!!! But I would have at least liked a male voice in there for the guys. A full cast would be a dream! But when Sinead would do the male parts they didn’t sound very realistic. No fault to her. I couldn’t do the male parts either. I just think having a guy do those parts goes a LONG WAY to making, especially the romantic parts, more effective!!! But, because I previously read the book and I LOVE IT, I enjoyed it anyway.

Possibly the worst male voice narrator of all time

The story was good but how the narrator did male voices was so bad I almost stopped listening. Actually it’s so bad I just can’t continue to book 2. Her female voice is great but wow the male voice is so bad.

Great story but narrator sucked

I enjoyed the story but it was really hard to get through because of the narrator. Her male voice was really horrible. It made me cringe at times.

Amazing Narration

I've read this book before listening to the audiobook and I have to say the audiobook is so amazing. I loved listening to the audiobook. Sinead Collins was perfect. She did a fantastic job voicing Faye. I had to keep reminding myself about Faye's accent in the book, so listening to Sinead with an accent was so fun. I really can't wait to listen to her narrate other books, especially if the characters have accents.

This forbidden romance will keep you on your toes with all the drama and secrets. I was so wrapped up in the Kennedy boys and the life they live. I will definitely be listening to the other books in this series.
