Look for E L James’s passionate new love story, The Mister, available now.

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees. Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate.

Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past. Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

Reading of story good, storyline not as much

The reading was good. Not a fan of how the story ends, was expecting more. I had read the first 2 a couple years ago and didn't get around to the end mainly because the writing was bland and repeative. This last book was the same and unfortunately the ending to this trilogy was very lack luster.

A Modern and Sincere Lovestory Trilogy

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Freed again? Why?

I would read this trilogy again, slowly and take in the nuances offered. The first book was antagonistic due to Ana's immaturity and response to circumstances, but redeemed it self as it triggered the reader to review their own awkwardness in youth. It took me halfway through the 2nd book to really open my heart to the narrator, she was an excellent Ana, I enjoyed the read enough to finally accept Christian's voice as portrayed. I do believe that people search for this 'agape' . I was pleased within , to note the writer is of a 'good nature' and believes in fairy tales too. It is a book to accept in the moment of the read, a relationship tangled in passion, stark reality, of past and present and the inviting intrigue of future hopes and dreams.

What other book might you compare Fifty Shades Freed to and why?

The Story of O, which is not found in Audible's library, however this book takes a very different if not doomed twist.

Have you listened to any of Becca Battoe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I found Becca's Anna impeccable, and cannot imagine Anna as anyone elses' voice. I do believe it would have been a 5 star performance if a male narrator had assumed the role of Christian...

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me long for an INSANELY RICH soul mate. Who wouldn't want to live that way?? Kristel champagne> come on now! private jet? Charley Tango? and one of those Audi's to zip through life...

Any additional comments?

Fellow readers be objective when you read this book, it is an entertaining love story, that is all, read beyond the 1st book and it will please you, nothing more, nothing less.

Love these books

Love these books. Can't wait for the last movie to come out to watch it as well. I think my inner goddess and my subconscience are both pervert. Because they could can not get enough of Christian and Anastasia until the very end.
