Great story until she starts talking military

I really enjoyed this story until she started talking about Macs military service. Marines ARE NOT soldiers and wouldn't be caught dead telling them to soldier up. She kept using soldier and Marine interchangeably and I drove me freaking nuts. And Marines stationed at Fr Carson?? Hello that's an ARMY base- I've spent a lot of time there. I think in this day and age if you're going to reference our current military at least do a little research and get it right

I have loved this series what a wonderful addition this book bring to it. I fell in love with Gwen early on with her whit, humor and her accent. If you have read the first books in this series you have followed the cat and mouse game that she and Neil have been having. If you have been like me you have laughed, chuckled as you watched these two dances around their feelings. I was so glad they finally got their story oh what a story it is. I would have to say this one is my favorite so far.

These two are as different as night and day Gwen has always had money you would think that would make her snotty but it really doesn’t. Oh she isn’t thrilled with bugs, camping, cheap hotels but not many women are. Her personality is just downright lovely, she has class with a wonderful sense of humor. She loves to pull Neil’s chain and get him started. Earlier on in one of the first books they have a lovely scene in a bar where Neil pulls rank. I had to laugh myself silly when Gwen was talking about her sex life and she wasn’t a virgin. A cowboy came up and said that was good to know….to funny. The author has keeps her humor going though out their tale of romance. Gwen doesn’t know what else she can do to make Neil either walk away from her or take a stand. She finally said enough and puts words into action. Which takes floors Neil he is left unbalanced as to what to do.

Neil is just a stand up guy who never goes over the line. He takes his job seriously maybe a little to seriously when it comes to Gwen. He does his best to keep her safe even when she pushes the lines and doesn’t listen. I have to say he loves watching her on the security camera and does take his turn listening in to what she is saying. I just love this character he has so much going for him as one hot body guard who goes over board from time to time.

Catherine is a very talented author who gives thrilling suspense as she gives true romance. I have to say she had me guessing through most of the book as to who Raven was. She always gives an entertaining read or listen as she spins her story with passion, suspense, thrills. Her love scenes are written in style that has class. She never lets her readers down as she gives you a compelling story which usually keeps you hanging on to her every word.

You never can go wrong with Tanya Eby narrating she gives each character class. I truly love her many voices. She gives just the right tone to each as she paints a picture that you can almost see. You feel what each character goes through. She is one of my favorite narrators I could listen to her all day. If the book isn’t enough to keep turning the page Tanya will make it hard to put down this wonderful story.

I listen to this one in record time I just had to know what was going to happen. I really recommend you listen or read all of this series. The author does tie each book into the other. They can be read as a standalone but are much better if you read them in order. I know you are going to love Ms. Bybee writing style her words just flow so easy. She gives you just enough excitement to keep you hooked. Throws in romance with so red hot passion. I do not know what I am going to do when this series is finished. I have really enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend any of this authors books you can’t go wrong with anything this author writes.. She just had a new release in this series. I can’t wait to work my way up to her latest release. Listening to these in order is one of the hardest things I have done.
